Hi, I'm Jason Lemkin. I'm the founder and original voice behind sastr and I am here to be part of the team bringing 5,000 founders from 46 countries across the world together to learn how to scale better together. The quality of the speakers have been absolutely phenomenal. So to like get those guys to share their nuggets of information that they've spent 10 years learning in literally, literally 30 minutes is phenomenal.
The sessions were really insightful that you walk away from the conference every night with a ton of ideas on how to get back to your business.
What amazes me about this group is everyone is so open and ready to share what's working for them, what's not working for them. It's an incredibly sharing community.
Came to SAASTR because it's really the place where customers, prospects and investors are meeting and responding to partners.
My takeaway From SAASTR Annual 16 Asking questions is the number one thing. Recognizing that while we know a little bit, there's a whole world out there.
I think 40% of people attending today are not from the US and the quality of people and the content was very high.
It's huge because you get to meet so many other people who are at similar stages in their growth. We're going through a lot of the same experiences, the same pain.
It's a great supporting event I think. Help executives like ourselves with our own self awareness and frankly understand what's going on all around us.
We are here because we're a SaaS business that's growing and a community like this doesn't get together in person very often. Beyond just the sessions themselves. The quality of the conversations you have with people in the hallways is just awesome. So like minded people all together. It was a great event for us.
