In this short panel discussion, leaders from VibeCoding explain how the company has surpassed $400 million in annual recurring revenue while maintaining a lean team of just under 200 employees. They emphasize that engineering—specifically "product engineering"—remains the top priority, with a philosophy that every team member should have broad autonomy and blurred responsibilities. To achieve this, they preferentially hire former founders who can wear multiple hats across engineering, product, marketing, and analytics. The go‑to‑market approach is largely product‑led, focusing on building a product that generates compelling customer stories that fuel growth. While the marketing and sales teams are being expanded to meet rising demand, the company stresses that it is still on a continuous product‑market‑fit treadmill, needing to iterate rapidly as the category evolves technologically and in customer perception.

Because even right now, we shared our figures, uh, numbers in February that we've crossed over $400 million in ARR, and we're just shy of 200 people still. So, we are operating as a very tiny team for a reason. And when you think about bringing people into the team, like, are—
do you guys already know, like, where you do want to put those, like, dollars and headcounts into for folks? Or are you like, no, we're just going to kind of stay where we are for a little bit?
Engineering is our biggest priority. This is like when people say, "Oh, engineering is dead," or "Design is dead." All of that, I think, is a lie because we had never had more need for experienced, incredible engineers that are going to push the boundary of what's possible to create with software, to enable AI for all of you to push the boundary of what's possible at the same time.
So, engineering has always been our number one priority, and we actually call it product engineering. Because we don't follow the ratio of 1 product manager to 7 engineers to designer to marketer. Everybody is kind of doing everything.
So, autonomy is very important for our team, and we love to hire previous ex-co-founders or founders because they're incredible at being able to do marketing and engineering and product manager and analytics all at the same time. So, those blurred roles and responsibilities are very important for us.
And then we do have GTM, but a lot of our go-to-market is product-led.
So, just building amazing product that creates stories worth telling for our customers, so our customers can go tell that story to their people that they're connected with. That is our growth strategy.
But we do have incredible marketing team. We're ramping up our sales team because we see incredible demand from organizations wanting to get into VibeCoding as well.
But engineering is still number one priority because I say playfully that we even approaching half a billion dollars in revenue, we're still on the product market fit treadmill because category is evolving so fast, both from technological perspective, from customer perception, that we still need to keep pushing the product at the maximum velocity forward. And it's a living, breathing thing that we need to almost recapture every single month.
