The Agents #008: Agents Are Merging, Not Multiplying. Plus, Sam Blond on Why Outbound Isn't Dead.

Sam Blond discusses Monaco's shift from beta to general availability, including proactive agents like Amelia that surface insights before users ask questions. The platform trains on customer and employee activity to automatically reprioritize account scoring and outreach, moving sales teams from reactive chat to predictive intelligence.

GA, we think of ourselves right now in public beta. We did this in February, so we're now, you know, 4 to 5 months in this sort of like public availability. But we will move to general availability here in the next, let's call it like 4 to 6 weeks. And so there are some really cool technical advancements that are coming alongside that specifically in this world of agents. Jason, you talked about like inbound agent— it's just like agent overload that comes with GA. We have been during this public beta process, we've really been training a lot of agents on the activities that our customers are taking in their accounts, but also our FTEs are taking. And so then truly agentic. There's one really cool one. You said that Amelia wakes up every morning and starts talking to Tinke and like learns things about your business from the agent that Amelia wouldn't otherwise know about the business. It's like, these are my words, not yours, but, or certainly my interpretation. The like insights and actions agent is really cool where—
That's good. That's what we're talking about. You have to have a great internal agent in the product.
Yeah.
It's just dated.
Like it's just not cool, right? You gotta have a great internal agent. Accite, Insight.
Yeah. It, it, it's tell— and it, it's just data, it's data trends.
But, but it's— so inside of Monaco, I can, it'll give me all my insights and actions. I can talk to the agent and figure out stuff. I can, I can riff on stuff together.
Well, you can riff on stuff together. The, the riff on stuff together is available today and it's reactive. So in Monaco, we have the like chat, in a little it lives on all of the data and you can chat and learn about your business proactively. The thing that I think is really cool is the like, we're going to tell you stuff about your business and you don't even know the question. You don't have to know the question.
I see. 10K comes up with 3 ideas a day for us. It's exhausting. This is our only kibitz is if you miss a couple of days, it's got 9 things that nags you to do. But I would say like half of them are pretty good. I mean, they're all good. And like half of them are really nice.
Prioritize.
So if you're productizing, like people are going to— people may not get it, but they're going to love it, right? They're going to love it, right?
It is both the insight and then the what do you— what should we do with this? Like, and sometimes, especially with early-stage startups, the insight may or may not match the anecdotes, right? Like we can give an insight and the person reviews it, which we're doing right now as part of this like beta where somebody reviews it and they're like, the data is correct and it's not something that we should action. But like those two things can be true. That said, what's really powerful is the like, here is the insight. Wow. Like now that you say that it matches the anecdotes and then the action is the like, okay, what are we going to do inside of Monaco given this learning where it's like reprioritizing the way that we score your accounts or reach out to who we're reaching out to. Like all of this stuff is just on autopilot in a way that is, is it used to be so much work. Yeah. And now it's just like this, like you're like, yes, it's really cool.
Yeah. Okay. That's pretty exciting. Cool. What else? What else did we miss? Anything else you want to hit today, Sam? I know we went over. Anything else you wanted to talk about?
Oh, you all are the best. Thank you for having me on the show. Thank you for having me at the annual and just appreciate all of your support. So thank you so much.
Cool. Let's go GA, man. All right, everybody. Thanks. Thanks again for joining the Agents. Much more to talk about next week. Yeah. And again, going to Sam's point, it, it, it can seem like what we're doing is at the edge, and hopefully folks that watch and listen benefit from that. But you can do everything we did. All we're doing is just, is we're just motivated to do more of this than you. Any single thing that we've done with our agents, you can do. See you guys next week. Adios.
