We have here Nanda Prabhakaran one of the recent achievers in our community. Very happy to have you here Nanda. Can you please share what exactly worked for you? How did you happen to be in CBH and know anything that you would.
Love to share with us please. Yes. Hi Sakshi. Hi everyone. So I am Nanda Prabhakar. I'm a doctor by profession and I am into clinical research. Last year November I quit my job and I was in the total confusion after almost 15, 16 years of experience. What do I do? Because I wasn't enjoying what I was doing And Sakshi is someone. I think she God sent me her as an angel in my life. I actually joined Leaders in the month of January. But due to some issues at home I couldn't continue and be a part of Grandathon and all of that. I was on and off and just before the retreat happened, a week before I joined Legends and I suddenly went to retreat and the entire shift happened. What all happened at the retreat. I'm so glad that I took that decision to get into Legends. It totally changed the mindset, the perspective I had regarding getting into a job or it. It became a way of life. Sai to be frank, you know, Legends has become a way of life for me. It changed so much. I'm the Brandathon. I succeeded in the I. I completed the second Brandathon and become a Brandathon finisher. So once that was declared the confidence that I had was. Was totally at a different level. It was not there before G. Completing Brandathon gives you that power because step by step. So automatically you get that confidence because you have all the information at your hand and that tested and tried it. You can't go wrong basically. So I did all of that step by step. I got into that confident zone and I started applying and finding my niche Was the biggest thing for me which came out very profoundly was I want to be a part of research and then I focus to only apply for those job and especially I wanted to be in you know, R D department which I am in now. The job I got, I am into R A department and you know directly reporting to the chief technical officer which is a dream come true which I actually did not expect. So this happened. I applied and then the chief technical officer got in touch with me which was also not because I was expecting, you know some HR will get in touch with me. So he just wrote I went through your profile. It's very profound to me and I want to have a talk with You. When can we have. So this was something which was totally out of the box for me. I. And I was actually jumping out of joy. So we had a call and he came. I know, you know, a lot of things. I don't want to interview you like that. Just tell me, what are you expecting? Whoa. I. I was like, really? Luckily, Sakshi, just the previous day, I went through all the negotiation, you know, videos one more time because I just wanted to be prepared if at all, you know, we land up somewhere there and this happened. And I tell you, after the negotiation videos, going through them the second time, third time, the confidence level was different. You know, I was very poised and I was just showing, you know, as if, you know, nothing matters, whatever you ask me. And I just asked. He was trying to take the number first from me. I didn't give any number. I said, you tell me what you want to offer me. And, you know, for my knowledge and my. For experience, all of that. So he told the one number, and then I told one more number. He said, okay, fine. And the cherry on the, you know, cake was, okay, fine, this is. Okay, I agree to this. This is what I'll give you. And after 10 months, he already announced another $500 from the 11th month you will be getting. Wow. Which was totally, totally unexpected. I was like, okay, thank you so much. And I was still like, you know, this was discussion going on. I wanted it all in writing. You know, until then I was little skeptical. And soon after the meeting, the. Everything we discussed on the call came in writing to me on the email. And that is when I actually started, you know, feeling it. Oh, this happened. Actually, I couldn't believe it when he was telling that. I know after 10 months, he already announced one more number and he's okay with that. And I think negotiation skills videos and all the soft skills. Sakshi, I think, took me to another level I could control. I mean, the situation was under my control. I could feel that throughout. Yes, I think that those. Those videos you have made on negotiation were just amazing because it added me a lot of confidence and the control which I wanted to have. I actually executed it. So I think that helped me a lot. And yes. And when I just started working from last week.
