The conversation involves Sonakshi and a host or interviewer, but no speaker named Sakshi Chandraakar is present.
Okay guys, so we have Sonakshi here with us and she would love to share her accomplishment and achievement with all of us. I'm very, very happy and proud of you, Sonakshi. But everyone else would love to see where were you, how did it happen and what exactly worked for you? Could you please share that?
Okay, so hello everyone. So I recently got a job as a project coordinator at one of the leading software companies in Noida. That's the role. So firstly how CBS helped me. It was all cbs otherwise I would have not thought of transitioning into this role. Before this I was in a different role. I was a technical support engineer and now I've moved into project management management. So niche clarity really, really helped me a lot. Then the boot camp that we recently have, that changes my mindset and the negotiation skills that I learned in the last session, the selling yourself as a pro, that was the. You can say a thing that like literally helped me plan my way of how I'm gonna negotiate. So apart from that, there is a company, Hair India, which had a very long process. They what happened is they not only allowed that experience that I had which was not directly related to that role, but they also offered me a hike. And I remember that you said that even if you're not able to, you know, negotiate on the salary aspect, there are a lot of perks and benefits that you can negotiate on. So I negotiated a extra day of work from home as well apart from that and get some allowances extra apart from over that and my joining bonus as well. So that's really helped me and I'm ready to take on this new journey in a very different niche. So yeah, right now I was not like, yeah, so that's about the good news. I have something extra to say but nothing in the test.
Fantastic. So Nakshi, I'm very, very happy. So how much time did it take for you to go through this whole process? When did you started becoming, I mean, you know, aligned with this is the thing that I want and how much time did it take?
So when I joined, I joined Legend in May after the retreat, right after the retreat and we had the first goal setting session. So in that goal setting session I had my health and monetary goal. I did not set any other goal in the other aspect. I thought that I'll focus on these two things only. So I set a Montreal goal of earning more than a lakh after taxes in an in a month. So that's what I achieved after this. So from May till June, July, I was doing this role, but I was still preparing. It was like a confusion state that I should leave my last three years of experience and move to a new role. And maybe I had a dip in my salary. And not all those questions were coming in my mind, but I think I took that leap of faith. I was not able to balance time for the interviews as well as my working job because I was commuting to office. So I literally did not have any offer in hand. I took that sleep of faith and a month back I dropped the papers without having any job in hand. And the whole month I basically asked my manager, if I don't have any responsibility, you can relieve my notice period. So he allowed that. And the last whole month I was literally applying everywhere and full focus on my getting the job. And so I would say two months, all in all was the timeline that took me after the boot camp and then this for the whole time I fully focused.
So would you say that, you know, having the clarity of what exact kind of role that you want, that would be useful for everyone?
Niche clarity was like you can say, yeah, when we have that clarity in head of where we have to go, when we have everything on paper, like today also when you give God that exercise of that head, I was doing that. When things are in our head, we don't. We can forget it easily forget it. But when we are have it materialized somewhere, when we have something visual to see every single day, that gap that we can actually now see, that is the distance that we have to do, it becomes more achievable. It looks in our head that this is the gap. So also I got to know that was a gap analysis. That exercise is very, very important for us, all of us to do.
What is the difference between you being in leaders and you being in legends? Is there any difference that was there which helped you?
The difference I feel in my. It was in my mindset and now I think I've written that as well on Guru Purnima that I don't feel fearful of anything. Like I think there's nothing that I think in my head is not achieved by me. If that person can do it, if this person has done it, then why can't we? Yesterday also when Sriram was sharing that that child earned this much money, I was like, when that he can do it, like, why not? We have way older than him and we have been fortunate enough and privileged enough to have that education and all that facilities. Then why? It's just our excuses that we keep on giving ourselves that we don't have this, we don't have time and all that. We can do anything if we want to. That mindset change was the biggest thing that actually happened at the retreat. But then Legends followed up and now all the Law of Attraction sessions really, really mean men a lot, right?
Thank you so much, Sanakshi. It really means a lot and I'm so proud to have you in Legends and everybody in your group or generally in legends is very proud of you. So thank you for this achievement. Thank you for inspiring everyone over here one more time. Many, many congratulations everyone in the chat box. More power to Sanakshi.
