The More You Slow Down, The Faster You Grow with Julius Rogonja

Julius Rogonja, who built the supplement brand Ark of Sweden, talks about how slowing down through breathwork and embodiment practices actually accelerates growth. He credits witnessing his child's birth with reshaping his view of masculinity, and says the nervous system work he does helps release stored emotions and improve decision-making.

I'd rather be kind with you, and kind means I will say, hey brother, I can see you're about to go into a wrong path, and I will be honest and direct with you. And that's me being kind. But being nice, like, oh, I don't want to tell him this because he'll probably get upset with me— no. A true friend is a friend that is honest. Yeah, that will say it as it is because they care and they're being kind to you.
Yeah, I try to embody the saying that the more you slow down, the faster you go.
Wow.
When you read Slow down, because usually we read, you know, we want to just— we forget what we read. Slow down, you're going to have a better memory.
I appreciate that. That is so inspiring. I'm going to take that home with me, slowing down, you know. Grand rising and welcome to New Mind, where our intention is clear and is to share information for transformation. I'm your host, Sam Daghash. Thank you for being here. Thank you for tuning in one more time. And today's going to be a special day. This is a podcast long coming. I have a very special guest today, someone that I'm glad and pleased to call a friend and a brother. I'm sitting down with Julius Rogania. Rogania, correct? Entrepreneur, founder of Ark of Sweden, one of my favorite products, by the way. We'll get into that. shortly, embodiment facilitator, husband, and father, for a deep conversation around presence, masculinity, nervous system regulation, and what it really means to reconnect with yourself as a man. Originally from Lithuania and now based in Dubai, Julius is deeply passionate about the inner world, about acceptance, presence, and learning how to truly live in the moment rather than just talk about it. Through meditation, breathwork, and nervous system work, he helps men reconnect with themselves, become more emotionally grounded, and cultivate deeper confidence and self-awareness. His work with men comes from his own journey. He knows what it feels like to be disconnected, to suppress emotion, to perform instead of truly live. And more importantly, his mission today is to help men reconnect with themselves and become more present, expansive, and alive. I'm really excited about this conversation, brother. I know this is long time coming, and we had a bit of a situation before. We were meant to have it, and again— We're in allowance today. Yeah, you know, so thank you for being here, brother.
Thank you, bro.
I really appreciate it.
I'm really excited because usually when I go to podcasts, I kind of research about what the podcasts are about. What's the theme usually? You know, and in this one, I didn't research anything. I'm just like, okay, I know Sam is going to be the best, so I just like whatever comes.
I appreciate you, bro.
Just knowing that you want to flow as well, then. For me, it's perfect.
Yeah, man, I appreciate it, Julius. And, you know, I, I believe, you know, energy doesn't lie, Julius. I met you last year at an event, and honestly speaking, brother, the first moment we had an interaction, I just felt a connection with you. Um, I'm very— I've been doing this for almost a decade where I work with people, and I, I'm good in reading energy. But it's not about intellectually, it's more from a, from an emotional and a body perspective. The moment we interacted and I got to know a little bit more about you and meet your lovely partner Dina, um, I just felt connection, and, and it's, and it's a, it's a real one, you know. And this is life, you know, you know, you resonate with people or you don't resonate with people. Um, so yeah, again, so I'm really excited to dive deep into this conversation today. There's many areas I, I have in mind, and I'm allowing things to flow. But first and foremost, we got to address the most important thing recently, you know. So congratulations on being a father.
Thank you so much, bro.
You know, uh, I, I know we were having this conversation prior to you becoming a father, and I was like super excited for you in a way, you know. I was like, because I've just become a father as well. I'm 10 months in, as you know, and I know you're, you're just starting this beautiful journey as well. I wanna, I wanna ask you, because I really was reflecting on this, and I, and Julius, I believe, and I'm sure you probably would agree with me, that being in the room witnessing a birth of your child, for me, is a spiritual awakening.
Yeah.
Would you agree to that?
100%. Yeah, million percent.
So, so please walk me through what you felt in this experience, and how did you sense it changed you as a man?
How it changed me? First, the whole experience was not easy.
For sure, man.
It was not easy. It's very stressful.
Yes.
You know, as we spoke before, because I asked you advice how everything, like give me advice how I should support my wife as a man, you know, during the labor and everything, because I don't want to just stand there and freeze. I just want to be prepared. I watched a lot of YouTube videos about labor and just to see how other men supporting and what can I expect. So I saw like 30 different videos of labors to see, you know, what can possibly grow— go, you know, either way wrong or, you know, good. And, uh, and my labor was pretty easy, I would say, comparing to what I seen there. It was 9 hours since the contractions started, and then, uh, after 9 hours, Rio was born.
Yes.
My son.
Yes.
And, uh, but yeah, still, like, all these contractions, all this pain that your woman goes— like, you feel, you experience a lot of fear, you experience a lot of stress in the moment, like a lot of emotions being triggered. Like sometimes Dina says something to me, I'm just like, stand your ground, it's okay, it's not about you. Just like, you don't need to be perfect, you just need to be for her there. And after when Rio was born, it was just this— I couldn't stop like smiling and just— I have a video, you know, and I sent my brother, it's like, brother, look, you know. And he saw me, when he saw me crying and he saw me laughing and just smiling, he started to cry himself because he'd been through that himself.
Yeah.
And the baby, it was just like, it's so perfect. And all this love, it's like you feel in the moment. Then this, you know, skin to skin. And then seeing to Dina, how she's happy, how she's been through everything. And it was just like this groundedness. I'm like, wow, like this, this is how people comes to the world. And the I feel I feel more compassion to every single mother now. Yeah, because knowing that what they've been through, not even through mother to every single person, because I got deeper realization that we all been babies before. Yeah, and it's just like going through all this process as a man. It's so important for us to understand deeper like where we come from, how we come from, and what power woman holds, you know, because in today's world, a lot of men putting women down. They try to manipulate, they try to control in order for them to feel safe, you know, in order for them to chase whatever they want, you know. And I do believe that through women you can heal, you know, through feminine. We came in the world through feminine and we can heal through feminine, you know. And just like understanding this, like how powerful women are, how— where we come from. It's just, it was a deep spiritual awakening for me.
Yeah. And I mean, and, and I, I would assume you, you know, everything you're saying, brother, it's like gives me goosebumps because I, I literally lived through that experience, you know. And I think, I think I really do believe it's a gift for any man to experience that, you know. And I was one, to be honest with you, Julius, before, you know, I was one resistant to becoming a father. Like, I was just like, you know, the business life, freedom, all of that. Um, and when I had my child, I— my— there was multiple awakenings, but one was the, the, the understanding that what we resist sometimes in life is the best medicine for us. Yeah, you know what I mean? And I, and I felt that I was resisting something which was actually my, my biggest healing, to, to find myself, to love myself through, through my daughter or through your son, you know, because, because you see yourself in them, you know. You see it a lot, right?
You—
I'm sure you're noticing that.
Yeah, you see It's it's deeply healing every single day. Yeah, you know, and just like looking at the baby, it's such a perfection. Yeah, and then like when you think about in the future, like ah maybe you want your kid to become dad, to become dad, but then they chose different path, and then that's where parents could start like to control their parents and misaccept them, and then like because they wanted them to become lawyer or doctor or whatever. But for me, it's like I'm looking at this baby, and I'm like. Whoever you want to become, I'm going to support you in every single way. I'm going to accept everything about you. I'm just gonna allow you to flow in life. And I already did, you know, all this Human Design reading, astrological reading, how, what he needs, how I should support him. And I do feel like he chose perfect parents, me and Dina, of course. And because I'm really deep into emotional work and my kid is Highly sensitive, you know, according to stars, according to human design, and Dina is highly emotional. You know, she's very good with. We both are very good regulating ourselves and both supporting each other. Yeah. And so yeah, he I do believe he chose.
Of course. I mean, they they choose. They choose us. You know, that's what people forget. But we're we're we're channeling this life force into this life, life into life. Yeah. But they're ultimately choosing us. And I always say the same to Stace, my wife. I'm like, she did a good job. She chose. You know what? Because, you know, like for me, even when it comes to having a boy or a girl, for example, you know, I also know that there is a divine intelligence that almost reads into your life and where you are. If you are more in the beginning, at least more suitable for a feminine energy to come into your life or a masculine, a little boy masculine energy to come to your life, you know.
Yeah.
In my case, you know, I, to give you a bit of history, so I have 2 younger brothers and we're all masculine. And there's 10 years between me and my younger brother, and 8 years. So I felt throughout my life that at one stage I was the father figure. So one of the resistance that I had of not being a father is like, I've already played that role.
Yeah.
You know what I mean? When you have a feminine energy coming in, there's more a different type of softness that comes back to you, you know? When you— so it depends on the cycle and depends on what you need throughout your journey. It's a medicine, man. It's crazy. I want to touch on I don't want this whole podcast to be about this, but it's it is really powerful. We can talk about this, man, especially for the men out there that is ever thinking of of becoming a father. I can tell you.
Yeah, I also can tell that yeah, it's one of the best ways to grow as well. Every single man who wants to become better version of themselves have a kid, but with the intention to have kid, but not to have kids just to have kids. Yes, just to. Commit to be there for your kid, for your wife, to be present, to be supportive, to be the best in your way. And you're never going to be ready. Yeah, but once your wife is pregnant, you have nine months to get ready, which is a lot of time. And I made a lot in this nine months, you know. So it's it's like I do feel like I could have done it earlier. Yeah, you know, even though I felt never ready.
Yeah, same same. Now when I look back, I could have done it earlier. But at the same time, I do believe that everything happens in divine time. It really it really does, you know. So, so, so onto that, you know, we say that this obviously having a child grows, grows us. But myself and you have quite a lot of commonality, Julius. I'll explain to you. So first of all, we both own, you know, a supplement brand. You know, yours is pretty amazing. And I'm very actually excited to talk about it because I'm one that very rarely, you know, speaks about a brand. And yours, the moment I tried it, especially Ark of Sweden Drops, is just something that I integrated in my ritual So I use it before my breath. I use it before I do. I work out. I use it in my world. I use. I call it a pattern interrupt. So if I'm if I'm moving from one session to another, or if I just want a little bit of a of a pick me up breather, you know, to to to to regulate me because it's so powerful in terms of its senses. I use Arc of Sweden for those of you guys are here. This is the product we're gonna we're gonna talk about this more because I think also in terms of being an entrepreneur and having You know, working for yourself, and and you have you know a lot of freedom. Like we are lucky by designing our our life, right? We can admit to that. You know, we design our life in terms of how we want to structure our day, how we want to structure our our week, how we want to structure our business calls, our everything. And am I right to say that you've created along with with with obviously Dina and and I believe it's a family business, right? Your brothers, yes. You've created a seven-figure business, right? This is as a successful global business, which It's very inspiring, by the way. You inspire me in that perspective as well. Um, if I, if I, I want to— because I want to tie it in with becoming a father. When you become a father, your time is not your time as usually it is, right?
Yeah.
So walk me through how, how are you navigating that today, being an entrepreneur and being a father and trying to manage obviously being present at home, supporting Dina, your partner, being there for your son, but also having the responsibility of making sure the business continues running, right? So how are you finding your feet on that? Because I know that it's not as easy and it requires adjustment, especially with time and sleep and all everything else. So walk me through what have you done that makes sure that you're still maintaining your focus?
Well, first of all, I can tell you that I arrived in the perfect place in my life to have a baby because I do feel very, very like free, you know. Like, I used to be a barber. I was one of the best barbers in Sweden, and for 8 years I had to go to work all the time. My back started to hurt and everything, and that's how we started my business afterwards during Corona. And it took years to kind of come to the place. You know, first we invested a lot. We've had our factory, we were producing and everything. It took a lot of time. And now we just outsource everything. And when the 9 months I had of, you know, Dina was pregnant.
Yes.
So my goal was to liberate myself as much as possible. I hired people and then we had some AI assistance, you know, that works for us, does our work and some systems integrated. That I can step away and to be more present for my family right now. At the same time, two brothers of mine—they understanding that this is not easy time, so they can take some roles, some supports and everything. And they understand they don't push us too hard. Yeah, because I first month at least I want to be as much free as possible. Yes. So I still do some work, but not so much. Okay. And More I try to kind of get into into training to not to be be left behind because I have a back condition that that's why for me is very important to keep my fascia training and to stay to be present to be strong because I do believe that everything is in our body how we feel how we are the presence and everything is in our body and we do need to love our body and we need to invest so that's why for me is very important to invest time in myself. And then comes business where I do 1, 2 hours, 3 hours sometimes. At the same time, I do my coaching, uh, I building my coaching program for meditation, 60-day, and I invest some time in there. But it's literally, it doesn't feel that I'm overwhelming myself right now.
Okay.
And because I gave my— I made myself— I prepared myself properly in those 9 months. Okay. Yeah, and just trying not to be hard on myself.
Very good.
You know, I think it— if I would need to go to work every single day, because, you know, being a 9-to-5 job and just— it would be different life, you know. It would be much harder for me. Yeah. And then coming back home, you know, you feel tired and everything.
Yeah.
I'm just happy that I'm not in this place anymore where I used to be. Yeah.
You know, I, I, I think honestly, brother, you rightfully said you're definitely blessed, brother. And, and I think we are blessed because I know, you know, even, even with my partner Stacy, she used to work in the corporate world for, for almost a decade. And over a couple of years when we started our New Mind wellness products, you know, she stepped out and gave that full force, which now gives her the opportunity to be a full-time mother versus people in my circle where, you know, after 2, 3 months, they— the mother leaves the child and has to go into, you know, into a full-time job, which again, I respect. But it's very tough for me to just comprehend that of leaving your child with, you know, someone else for the whole day when they're, when they're only a few months old. You know, I, I find that that is the most crucial time for building the bond and feeling safe, you know. And I understand that the way society has shaped itself and the way the world has shaped itself in the matrix where, you know, there is a either consciously or subconsciously or intentionally or not, but there's a, there's a force of separation between the father, the mother, and the child because people are forced to go back to work or forced to go, you know, which I find quite sad actually when I think about it, because I think, I think I think the opportunity to be with our children when we want to and how we want to is amazing. And so just to answer what you said, just to recap. So you're saying to me, you right now are managing things well. And one of the key things you did was preparation in the 9-month period.
Yeah.
To make sure you automate stuff, you make sure you take care of things, and also obviously focusing on your physical health and mental health. Now, I know that our families are gonna come together and we're gonna spend time together. I know, like, I can see that already. But I'm, I'm very interested to know about when you talk about embodiment, because this is something you say about the embodiment of, of a true masculine and an embodiment of, of someone to be present. Are you talking about on the mental and physical plane? Is that what you mean by embodiment? Because a lot of our audience don't understand this terminology, embodiment, or embodying yourself to, to connect with yourself or, or feel disconnected. Because if you— if from what we— well, from my understanding is that there was a time in your journey where you felt disconnected, right? Um, if we can go there, if you don't mind, just to understand how, how, how, you know, what cycle was that, or how did you find yourself disconnected? Because I had the same thing. And how did you get yourself out of that? And what were the learnings that made you become more of an embodied masculine, more, more connected to yourself in that manner?
So I was always struggling with social anxiety, but before, when I was 20, 25. That's where I started to feel, but I was kind of didn't notice. I didn't even knew the term of social anxiety. Like all this psychology, everything for me, like emotions, it just came later. And when I met Dina, I was 26. And Dina, she's naturally really confident, super authentic. She can just take microphone and just go speak on public. And some— she loves singing. Sometimes she sees somebody singing on the street, she goes there, joins sings even though 100 people around. She, she doesn't have that fear of public speaking or anything. And for me, it was like really inspiring, this thing. And so in beginning, when, when I met her, like even on the first date, I went on her and she has this confidence, and her confidence inspired me to be more confident. Beautiful. And so it kind of— I felt boosted and I just felt so so good about myself just being around. It was the best date I've ever had.
Wow.
You know, and afterwards we just started to, you know, to talk more, to meet up and everything. There was a gap that we didn't see each other, but then later we came back together. And so every time I was hanging out with her, I just felt really good. And we decided to become a couple. When we become couple, Like I would say three four months later, my confidence that was boosted, it started to kind of fade down. You know, and my anxiety, social anxiety started to come back. And at the same time, she's a woman; she's more confident. And for me, it felt like that we should I should be more confident as a man. So the part of competition came, but I didn't want to compete with her because like her confidence was inspiration for me. And I was just like, I was always trying to kind of do the inner work to come at her level and just supporting her to be her, you know, instead of just competing or bringing her down.
Bringing her down so you can feel safe and feel seen or feel whatever.
Yeah, exactly. I wanted for her to always be her and I needed to do the inner work. And that's how I got into meditation. I started to do breathwork. I started to calm down my overthinking mind. And then years later, I learned about Acceptance, you know, because except for me, like I've tried so many things, and the one thing that really clicked with me that instead of trying to be something, instead of trying to control your life, you accept life as it is. And acceptance for me in meditation meant accepting everything that's happening here, what's happening inside, and accepting everything. What's happening around, you know? So accepting thoughts because I had I had so many thoughts in my mind, and the thoughts like the sabotaging, not feeling good enough, and everything. But when I sit meditate to meditate, I'm just not trying to resist. Just accept, accept, accept. And then they started to come come down. I started to become okay with my thoughts. Then emotions when I started to feel angry, some memories comes up, and then with those memories, some emotions attached, some sadness, some anger, some anxiety, some shame. It's just accept, accept, accept. And all of a sudden, I started to feel myself that I'm having emotional releases, you know. I started to yawn a lot, started to cry a lot, and I started to regulate my nervous system. And after every single release, I started to feel more present. And even in beginning, when we started to date together, We were arguing a lot with Ina. You know, she was triggering me a lot, and I sometimes shut down. Sometimes I leave. Sometimes I just say disgusting words on her. And right now I came to the place that this does not exist. We had one discussion literally a week ago, but it's just like the way we speak right now, the way I listen to her. Like she said, like I feel like I need to speak my truth about how I feel, and I just. sat down and she was saying everything. She was speaking for like 8 minutes. I didn't interrupt her at all and I just allowed her to express herself fully, you know. And then after when she finished, okay, I understand you and I understand this, this, this, and then I did this because of that, you know, I felt this way, so I'm sorry for that. And but before it was as soon as she started to speak, I just get triggered and I just get reactive. It's like my ego is not— couldn't hold myself.
Yeah.
And I think to come to place as a man to not to be triggered, to be emotionally strong, emotionally present. It's one of the hardest place to come. Yeah. You know, it's to, to be stable, especially when the woman, uh, talks, you know, to respect her emotions. Yeah. And all comes when you start respecting your emotions, you know, when you start to acknowledge your emotions, you see that like how emotions like process emotions to regulate, to release them makes you feel better, makes you feel more present, makes you feel more confident. That's why you want to give her the space to release her emotions. You don't judge her, you don't jump on her, you don't want to make her feel unsafe, and you just give her space, validate, and just allow her to be as it is.
Yeah.
And yeah, so for me, this is embodiment practice as a man, to be present with your emotions, to respecting other people's emotions. And it all comes, you know, Investing in your body as well. Training for me, fascia work done so much because fascia holds so much emotional trauma, emotional you know memories, and sometimes I just work out and then some memories comes up, and it was like okay, this comes, and then instead of resisting thinking about it, you feel it. Okay, interesting. I'm thinking about this. I'm feeling that. Hmm. And then I start feel like I'm yawning, I'm releasing. And for me, emotional release is yawning like babies, you know, when they come out, they yawn a lot. Yes. And, and I found myself yawning as well. And before it was— it didn't exist in my life. And now it's like become more conscious, like, like my practice of release.
So. It's amazing, man. Thank you for sharing that. That's so powerful. I just want to emphasize on You know, the word of acceptance. I think what, what, what's happening, you know, because I'm looking into my world, like, obviously, you know, I work with, with, with the subconscious mind. It's the body at the end of the day. The subconscious mind is the body, right? But what you're saying about acceptance is, is an— in a way, it's a form of processing your emotion.
Yeah.
So when you're accepting something, you're not creating resistance towards what's coming up.
Yeah.
And you're actually becoming more of the observer.
Yeah.
And at the same time, as you become the observer and accept what's coming up, you allow your body to process that emotion and to transmute it.
Yeah.
Because what happens if when we, when we, when we are suppressing and we don't want to deal with certain things, it stays in the body.
Yeah.
And, and then it starts to influence us as well. So I always say this with my work, is like, we can never think greater than we feel. So what happens is The body has a say as well. You know, it has a say in terms of dictating the quality of your thinking. Yeah. So, you know, so so people that get stuck in loops and get stuck in in negative thought patterns. Yeah. First of all, they take it so personal because they're in it; they're not out of it. And also, they're they're trying to avoid the ego's trying to push away from it, or they don't want to face it, or they're afraid to face it. Right? So what you've done, which is quite inspiring actually, is and courageous. And actually, you did it on your own, which is. Allowing for whatever to surface up, surface up. And I'm interested to learn more about the fascia because you're saying the fascia almost would—is it—is it—is it—is it a correct understanding for me if I say, Julius, is the fascia almost like the the the the data—not the data center—but it's the channel of the data in the body? Is that—is that a fair way of looking at it? It's like—it's like—it's like—it's like if you twist it, it's going to—it's like sort of. Squeeze out whatever's stored with certain stretches or certain movements. Is it something that you use with, with men to heal as well? Like, is that something that is consciously put forward to, uh, to release certain things that might be stored in the body as an emotional trauma?
It's an interesting way that— the way you look. And I think it's for you, you, by saying this, you open for me doors to learn about it myself. Yes, I don't really know That if if you just twist it, squeeze it, that's how it comes out. Yeah. But I do. I have heard when people goes on deep fascia massages and all that, they feel sometimes very emotional. Yeah. So probably it's correct.
Yeah. I'll tell I'll tell you why I have that analogy. I worked with a gentleman from you know this. I think they're called garage. They're called the garage. Human garage. Human garage. Yeah. Yeah. So I did I did one with I think his name is. Tarek.
Yeah, he was in, uh, he was at Cayenne Wells.
Yes. And I did a full, a full session with him just before me going on stage to speak, and I felt my entire body electric. Like, I felt an electricity running through my body. It was, it was, it was like I was volt— my voltage went high. He said, yeah, your voltage is going to go high. I was like, what is this? This is, this is amazing. But at the same time, he was doing some really powerful and painful stretches that when he was doing it, I was getting a popup of an image or a popup of a specific—
That's what I get sometimes as well.
Yeah, you get that, right? So for me, the way I'm tying it, I was like, okay, when he's pressing at this point here, it's like stored feminine pain that was from coming from my mother's side or my past conditioning. And when it was this side, it was the masculine. So it's pretty real. Like people would go, oh, it sounds esoteric, but it doesn't, because from a neurological— and this is something I studied— from a neurological perspective, all our emotions are stored in the body.
Yeah.
And also all of that is data that is associated with events that happen. Because remember, you have an event, Julius, when you were a kid. That event, when it happens, there's an emotional charge that happens with that. You may— someone made you feel a certain way. The brain takes a screenshot and goes, I'm going to remember that. that. But it gets— but sometimes we don't remember all our experiences, so it gets stored. So when you press, all of a sudden it shows up. So that's how my analogy is of seeing it, which is quite interesting.
Yeah. So I would say that the Human Garage, what they do, it would make more sense for them to kind of have this, like how it works. Because for me, when I talk about fascia, I talk about training the fascia, strengthening the fascia. They're doing more fascia release.
Yes.
You know, for me.
Yes.
Because the reason why I got into fascia is because of my back. When I was barber, I destroyed my back.
Because standing, just from standing, you mean?
Because I—
And bending over.
Yeah.
And also you're a tall guy.
Exactly. I have a kyphosis and my, my lower back is arching. My shoulders was very forward.
Okay.
My neck was like this.
Okay.
And so I had to invest a lot in my fascia to become more, you know, flexible, more open, more, you know, because I was super stiff everywhere in my body. And I tried so many things like massages, like everything. And then when I started to learn about fascia, about strengthening the fascia, I'm like, okay, that's what I haven't tried it. And I just had a lot of like videos how people training and everything. And I just, you know what, I'm going to do a 100-day challenge to train my fascia, to learn about the fascia every single day, you know? And for 100 days I was even on social media posting. I went on social media just like training, showing everything. I even got over 100,000 followers on TikTok. Just by showing my fascia journey and everything. Yes. And, and after 100 days, I feel so much better. Like, after 30 days, my back completely— never haven't felt back pain since. Touch wood, man. That's amazing. And I do feel that this is exactly what I needed. And now I feel much more open, much more flexible. I, I feel like when you train fascia, yeah, you feel that this is exactly what your body Okay, you know, but at the same time, like when the emotions comes up from training and everything, it still needs to be learned. We need to still know about acceptance. Yeah, you know, because all of a sudden we can start feeling. Yes, but if we don't know how to regulate ourselves, yes, accept what is coming through. If we just take our phone starting to distract ourselves, yeah, to just be, you know, take some pills to numb it or whatever. Yeah, yeah, you know, it's the pain is always going to be there. Yeah, yeah, you know, that's why acceptance As you said, observer, becoming observer. I do believe that acceptance can bring you into the observer. You feel something, accept. And then once you accept, you stop resisting. You start getting curious about what you're feeling and you step away back and just seeing what's happening in your body. And your heart always has this natural process how to process your emotions. So you just step away and allow. Notice what's happening in your mind. Thoughts coming. Okay, interesting. Here. And then eventually you start feeling like you yawning, you start crying, you start shake it off. Yeah. And it's beautiful, you know. And I do feel that finding acceptance in your thoughts, in your emotions, in everything, it's you embodying acceptance, you know. And then later life just happens. People triggers you, you know. Okay, accept I got triggered. Something's happened there. Okay, don't resist because sometimes like, oh, this guy triggered me, like I'm gonna sabotage him. Maybe he triggered you for a reason to learn about you.
It's an invite.
Push you towards other direction in life and now you want to go sabotage him to go against the universe, you know. No, go where it pushed you. Go towards where it directed you because I do believe that there is a life's flow and we need to follow life's flow. flow, you know, and otherwise we're gonna swim against the stream and then we're gonna burn out. But life wants to always take you on the flow, and you just, by using your emotions, you can flow in life. That's how I do believe that it takes you to the right business, it takes you towards the right people, it takes you towards your success, your desires.
That is so beautifully said, brother. I really appreciate that. And I think this is a big message to our listeners and viewers today, is that there's a medicine in acceptance, you know. There's a medicine in allowing you to learn. But just, just to close this point, because I want to move into something else, is there a specific protocol that you say? Is it something that you say to yourself, okay, this is coming up, and you say to your mind, I'm about— I need to accept this? Is that, is that what you say? Is, is, is that just a reminder to accept? Is that— is it simple as that?
So I have meditation that I've, I've been doing, uh, meditation, Transcendental Meditation, Vedic meditation that I've been taught from my friend Nico. It's a beautiful method. And this meditation kind of taught me this. So basically in this meditation, what it gives you, it gives you a mantra from Sanskrit. Okay. You know, and this, you repeat this mantra over and over again. But you know, for some people, this mantra, because it's different language, is like, I'm just repeating, I don't understand how this mantra works. So yeah, you start maybe judging, maybe don't, not to believe. Yeah. So what I do, I give the word accept. Okay. You know, just word accept. Just close your eyes. Yeah. Repeat the mantra, accept, accept, accept, accept in your mind. You know, try to repeat back in the mind, you know, and allow it to fade down. Eventually, you will forget that you repeat the mantra. You will get distracted because the mantra is going to bring out exactly what you need to accept. You start thinking, oh my God! Like this, it takes you. Your thoughts takes you on a journey, and then instead of when you catch yourself that. oh, I should repeat mantra. Accept. You accept that you got distracted, you know, accept the journey that the mantra took you on, and just go back on repeating mantra again, again, again, again. You're taking— it takes you on a journey, and then accept, come back. There's sounds around you, maybe you label them as a distraction. Accept. As soon as you sit down to meditate, you lose the control. There is no control. There is no control. You don't control what's happening inside of you. You don't control what's happening around you, like with your posture, everything. You feel discomfort, just accept. For 20 minutes, sit down and accept everything. Repeat the word accept, and whatever comes in your way, just accept. Emotions, accept. You know, thoughts, accept. Some memories pops up, accept. Simple. You don't need to analyze it. Just accept. Accept. Wow. Accept.
You know, and you, how long would you stay in that, in that meditation? Uh, you, are you playing music? Is it just you and yourself in silence? What's the best practice for something like silence?
Just literally silence.
And you would stay, what, 20 minutes, 30 minutes? 20 minutes.
20 minutes. No longer. Preferably twice a day.
And then, and then through that process, you're just repeating accept. And then if something comes up, you accept. If there's noise, you accept. So it's really teaching the body to surrender into acceptance.
Yeah. It it's it teaches you to embody acceptance because once you starting to accept every single thought in your mind, yes yes and then you start accepting every single emotions.
Once you repeat this word over and over again, it's your conditioning exactly.
And when then after the meditation outside the meditation when you go in life like this morning with you, yeah acceptance if we were late.
Exactly.
You know you telling me this is like accept. Yeah you know yeah and then you just repeat the word accept. Accept everywhere. You go somewhere, it's like somebody, you got like a message, something is canceled. It's okay. Accept. Life is happening. You just accept everything. And this, as much you repeat this word, accept inside of you, it starts, you know, the NLP.
Yes, of course.
NLP, the language you tell to yourself and the energy you give out. Yes. So the energy you give out is acceptance. You accept everything. Nobody can move you. Somebody triggers you, accept. Okay, accept. Somebody drives, you know, and being like jumps in front of you like an idiot, you know, just accept. Yeah, don't get mad, accept. Or if you feel that is good, there's some anger raises, yeah, accept the anger, you know.
And just, I want to play devil's advocate with you here because I'm sure some of our audience would think this. They're like, okay, I love the idea of accepting And I love the idea that it helps. But what if the mind— because how the mind is like, well, if I accept— because, you know, the mind is a meaning-making process. So if the mind says, well, if I accept Julius being rude to me, that means I am allowing that to happen to me. Or if I accept that person that cuts his car in front of me, that means I'm allowing him and I'm agreeing to that person to something. So what do you say to someone that says that?
I do believe that you have to be connected with your own truth as well. You know, if somebody goes against your truth, what you really believe, and for example values— you mean something against your values and everything— you need to set your boundaries. Okay. Anyways, you know, there is a place, but like if the random person, I mean in the street, yeah, or something that you don't know you can just always leave it there. Yeah, I hear you. You know, for me, like, a lot of people wants to argue, wants to get into— yes, they burn so much energy. Then eventually anger doesn't solve the problems. You're right. You know, acceptance is solving the problems. But when it comes to your family members, when it comes to your friends, there always needs to be spoken truth.
Yes, and boundaries.
Yeah, and the boundaries. You know, like, if you don't like something— and for me, I, I was— I'm still learning how to speak my truth, you know. And I know that the truth is the thing that is going to liberate us as well, you know. Yeah, because if you— if your friend is constantly triggering you but you don't want to tell him because you don't want to hurt him, like, eventually he's gonna keep triggering you and, and until you explode, or you eventually, ah, I don't want to be friends anymore. Yes, you know, and just you— yes, because you haven't spoke your truth, you know. That's why you lost your friend.
Yeah.
And you told— I think that your friend is idiot. Yeah, you know. Yes. But what about you? You know, you created that. You, you're a part of I do think that we are causing problems to ourselves. Yeah. And by just— yeah. So that's why for me, I, as much as I done work, I realized that acceptance is everything for me. That's where I started my healing journey, started to escalate like this, you know. It's cool. Sometimes it goes like this. Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course. You feel like you unlock something and then eventually—
Yes, yes. I love it because you, you write about the friend situation You know, there's a difference. I don't know if you know about this term. So people say, you want to be nice with your friend or you want to be kind? I'd rather be kind with you. And kind means I will say, hey brother, I can see you're about to go into a wrong path, and I will be honest and direct with you. And that's me being kind. But being nice, like, oh, I don't want to tell him this because he'll probably get upset with me— no, a true friend is a friend that is honest. Yeah, that will say it as it is because they care and they're being kind to you. Yeah, so kind is raising something up up for the best, for the greater good. Nice is being shy of what— and worrying about what he would think of me if I raise it up, right? Yeah. But I think true friendship is someone that you gotta actually show up in their truth. So I agree with that, with that statement.
And it feels so good when you speak your truth.
Yeah, yeah.
It feels so good because if your friend is being hurt by your truth— yeah. And it's not about you, it's about your friend. Yes. Of course we need to learn how to deliver our truth as well.
Of course.
just like, I'm gonna just drop a bomb. Yeah, if you're just like, you know, I'm gonna go there and I'm just gonna speak my truth. Yeah, you have this in your mind. Allow the truth to come in a moment. Come, come with love. Yeah, come with love. Of course, to say that like, yeah, I don't like the way you speak to me, you know. I'm sorry. Yeah, I don't like the way that you— yeah, yeah, try to control me. Yes, it's like this has to end. Yeah, sorry.
Yes, I love that. I love that, Julius. This is— I mean, this conversation is going beautifully, brother. Thank you for that. Look, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna just move a little bit and touch base on your entrepreneurial experience, brother.
Yeah.
You know, being an entrepreneur and, and, uh, and, and being abundant, you know, abundance is, is a beautiful thing. I see abundance in you, my beautiful brother, and I see abundance in you not in the form of trying to push out abundance to make the world think that you're abundant, but abundance, I believe, is generated from within us, within how we, how we, how we feel inside of us. And to be full from inside, right? And that's something I've picked up in you. You're a generous person, you're an abundant person, and you carry it in a beautiful, elegant way. You know, it's not about being, um, trying to prove something, and you know what I'm trying to say. So let's talk about, let's talk about, uh, your journey with Ark of Sweden, which obviously created abundance and, and created a life of freedom for you. But also, what is, what are the most powerful learnings along the way That has allowed you to embody abundance the way you do? Because I see that in you, brother, and this is not a compliment; this is truth. And I think it's beautiful and inspiring. But what are what are the what are the lessons and the things that you had to learn, maybe the hard way, to get you into a space of true abundance today in terms of freedom or financial abundance or abundance of when I talk about abundance for me it's not just money; it's a it's a many forms you know it's. It's freedom. It's, uh, it's, it's the ability to, to, uh, do what you want to do when you need to do all these aspects. And of course, financial is an element of it, but it's not all of it, right? So what would you say has been your track? Because I mean, from, from, from being a hairdresser, you know, working at a hairdresser, standing all 9 hours, uh, having to go to the job every day and do that, something inside of you as a mind, as a body, as an energy had to shift. To experience the life that you experience today, I'm sure you would agree with me, right? So what do you think was that? What needed to shift within you mentally and emotionally and in your inner world for you to be able to hold this frequency today?
When I was barber, I was, as I said, one of the best barbers in Sweden, and I really wanted to open my super luxurious barbershop because I had a lot of celebrities. I had a lot of successful people coming to me. And I just thought like, let me create a place for gentlemen, you know? And I really was obsessed with this idea to make YouTube videos, show everything and make the most fancy saloon. Like, so it gets like on the best designs barbershop. I already had everything set up, the design, the place I found, the money I had, and the idea how to make it different, how to stand out. And my brother is a filmmaker. My Dina was, you know, she's Great with businesses as well, and I'm just great what I'm doing. Yeah, and I thought like this is gonna blow off, and then Corona came, you know, and then like everywhere around the world, all the barbershops started to shut down. And here I'm in Sweden. Sweden was one country that didn't have lockdown.
I know, I respected that. Yeah, and they didn't force anything on anyone.
Yeah, they didn't force. There was regulations, but there was no not intense.
tense.
Exactly. Yeah. And it kind of— my clients started to slowly not to come, and I had full booked schedule all the time. And then all of a sudden I have 4 or 5 clients a day. I'm like, what is happening in the world? And eventually started to kind of, I don't know, like panic about everything, about all this saloon opening. And so I started to negotiate with the location that wanted to give me the barbershop and everything. It's like, guys, if I open and all of a sudden they close it, I not to pay the rent? They said, no, no, we don't give you that. And I'm okay, I'm just gonna wait then. I'm gonna wait for 1 year. At the same time, my back started to hurt a lot from all these kiposis, from all the standing. It's just like this thing and this thing came to me. Eventually, like, my clients are not coming. It's like, I don't know, am I becoming— I started to judge myself.
Yeah.
And am I a bad barber or what is happening?
Yeah.
And then one of my friends came to get a haircut and he said how his business went really well during the corona. He had a cleaning company and because everybody just hires to clean more and everything. And he's like, I'm hiring people to make it expand as like it's so much happening. I'm like, okay, so there is a businesses that's going good during corona and my businesses is obviously going down. I came back home. I started to do research. What are the businesses are going well during Corona? And first thing that came up, e-commerce. Some guy on YouTube is saying like how e-commerce taking big time because people in the lockdown they cannot go to shoppings. They just forced to buy stuff online and because they still get salaries and they just forced to buy stuff online. I'm like, okay, my brother he can make. Make websites, he can make videos. I'm good on social media. I become famous barber like on TikTok and everywhere. Combination, everything. It's like, I'm just gonna do e-commerce. And I just started to get really obsessed with that idea. So, I took off days for a week and I'm watching YouTube, you know, like how to do the e-commerce. For me, I've never went to university. Even becoming a barber, I learned everything from YouTube. YouTube. So I know how YouTube— how we have a lot of information, we just need to learn, do it. Yeah. And all, all of a sudden I got super excited and I started to watch some e-commerce gurus teaching, talking about e-commerce. And like, they talk about how they made million from this product, 10 million from this, 2 million from this. I'm like, if I can learn e-commerce, I can become a millionaire. And I just got so obsessed with that idea. And I was doing breathworks at the same time, every single morning doing breathworks, and I just seeing myself quitting the job and earning millions from e-commerce. And then like during this week I decided, you know what, it was April, by the end of the year I'm gonna quit my job and I already be a millionaire.
I love it.
I just decided this and I'm like, so I had, I don't know how many months, 8 months to do, to just work hard and everything. And I still haven't had idea what I want to do, but that idea just came later. To do first blue light blocking glasses and everything. It was my first brand that I kind of invested. And we worked hard and everywhere, everything. And somewhere in August, one of my friends showed a similar product of Arc Drops in USA. And then I knew as a breath master, I knew all the science about peppermint. I know that football players place this on the chest to breathe better and everything. And, but nobody takes orally. And here's somebody takes orally. And I just opened my marketing mind. I know how to make it better. And so I started to do this idea as well. Blue light blockers glasses start, we launched it. It's super slow. It's so much work needed and it's just going slow. And I see this one is going to skyrocket the way if I do it. So we started to work on it. And we thought we're gonna launch by the end of the year, but it just like a China was late with the bottles. Yeah, yeah. Oils, everything was late, and we're like, okay, so when is it gonna happen? And then in November, I know that we're launching somewhere in February, and I had to quit my job in, uh, in December. Um, like, I started to get super anxious. Am I doing correct? Am I doing— what am I doing? I'm quitting Barbering career and just going into businesses. I'm delusional. I'm like want to make millions. Like I started to really get anxious.
Yeah, because stepping out of your comfort zone.
Yeah, because I'm stepping out and I because I thought I'm going to be millionaire by yeah yeah by the end of the year and it's happening after New Year and I started to doubt in everything. I'm just like I was so close to give up. I was so close to give up and I remember. I was home from work, super anxious, and I'm like, what should I do? What should I do? And somehow in my awareness popped up the book Think and Grow Rich. And I've never read books. I don't read books, but I just like saw it somewhere. I don't remember where, and it just pops up. I need to try it. And I found Lithuanian version. I started to read immediately. I came back home, I lie down on a carpet, and I just listened this book for 3 hours, and it was like music for my ears. My whole motivation came back. The one, the motivation I had in April, it just came back. I'm quitting my job. I don't care. You know, I'm just gonna make it happen. Doesn't matter when is the timing. I'm still gonna make it happen. And then like New Year came. I quit my job and I was still anxious and everything, but I was doing breathworks reminding myself that like just believe in yourself. You're gonna make it. And that pushing, that believing, that reminding myself, it made me to come up with The right action to do it, and then like when I was barber, I started to give arc drops. You know, to the products we have a sample, and I started to film their reactions. How people tries it, and then I started to post those reactions on TikTok. Yeah, started to go viral millions of views before we even launched the product, and all of a sudden we have two thousand two two and a half thousand leads waiting for our product, and as soon as we launched. Like we send out emails. The TikTok was going viral. First week we sold it for €50,000. Beautiful. You know, and then the month ended. We have €140,000, then €180,000, €200,000, €300,000, €400,000. It's like keep going more and more and more. And all of a sudden you have this abundance. Yes. You know? Yes. Oh, and I was so close to give up. Yeah. And it came to— but like what I can tell about all this, it helped me to believe in myself. Belief system is super important and it constantly needs to upgrade as well because I build this abundance, you know, we have this money and everything, we pay out ourselves a lot, dividends and everything. And I was wasting spending time, money like this. First of all, I was enjoying the life and thinking that like I figure out some formula of life. Yeah. And at the same time, we made some mistakes in company that we need to hire lawyers. We paid like 200,000 there. Then I made some wrong investments in Thailand. I got scammed 100,000 there. Crypto, a lot of money started burnout. My all abundance started to fade down because all of a sudden I came to this level where I feel I'm rich. Okay, what does rich people does? They invest. And so, okay, just there, there, there, there, there. But the part of me was still not feeling good enough, you know, that like it— my belief system didn't upgrade to that level. So I started to sabotage myself, and that's where I lost— started to lose the money as well. So every single time you grow, you need to remind yourself to believe more. What's like, uh, to remind— To not to be delusional with money, to keep learning, keep growing with your money. do the inner work. Like, a lot of people saying that, uh, you need to be— to build a successful company, it's, uh, yeah, you need to be spiritual or something. For me, the doing the work, the business, building the business, it was like a spiritual work to learn about myself, about my belief system, about the money.
Yes.
About not feeling good enough, about my greed, you know, like to having more and more and more, to find the groundness in that. It was a deep spiritual work, and it came eventually, came to that level where I feel the freedom, I feel the abundance, you know. And it's still learning. I'm still learning all of this.
It's a journey, brother. And thank you so much for sharing that story, and, and that's very inspiring. And I think the message is that, you know, in the, in the road of, of abundance, of becoming an abundant person, it's an ongoing process. Yes. But also, when you reach a certain threshold, that your inner identity Is not in alignment with that, you will self-sabotage. Yeah, 100%. I had that a lot with my you know I told you in the U.S. I was working with a lot of very successful traders, right? So they multimillionaires, right? So what would happen is that they would be five figures, and the moment they like for example start to become six figures, oh sorry, six figures into moving to seven figures, all of a sudden they just lose everything. Yeah, but every time they came close to a certain number on the screen that represented something inside of them that they didn't believe they were good enough. Now, for the mind, they used to self-sabotage and they used to make stupid mistakes. And it's kind of like, I know I was making a mistake. I don't know why I was making it. I was just doing it unconsciously. Yeah, right. So, so, so what you're saying is that, A, do the work. What's required to become abundant is also to have self-belief. Yeah. And also to be humble by not forcing something. Yeah. To— that is going above your threshold because your frequency will always bring you back to where you are. So you have to— so it's a constant ongoing process of— I do believe also stretching yourself is important, right? So, so sometimes you should stretch yourself with money to feel that you can expand that energy, right? So like, for example, this is spending money. Exactly. Yeah, like what I mean by spending money, like you have to not also be like too tight. Yeah, because then there's also lack and fear.
Yeah, you need to challenge that part that feels not— that you don't have enough.
Yes, you have to challenge that part you don't have enough, but you also have to challenge the part that you are good enough to have more. Yeah. Right. So it comes in 2 dynamic aspects, right? I love that. I love that. I can't believe we're tying up on this, but just before, just before we wrap up. So, so for my listeners, Ark of Sweden Drops, this is one of my favorite products, honestly speaking. And I'm not here to talk about it or to promote it, but I'm here genuinely to share this with my community around the world and my followers. I personally use this and I have it with me all the time. There's so many amazing products to be fair. All your products are quality to be honest, but this has just been something that I've personally leaned into which I which I personally like and literally guys it's simple you just open. You take the drops, and then you like drop under your tongue or on top of your tongue, and you wait for a bit. Then you then you take a nice deep breath, you swallow, and then it just opens you up, and it feels tripping amazing. I genuinely love this, and I'm you know I really love this this thing. So so Julius, I just want to say to you honestly, brother, from my heart to yours, thank you so much for showing up the way you show up, for being a true embodiment of of what you speak. And I personally see you as an inspiring person in my journey because I'm learning from you as well. And and you know, and and you're and like I said, there's a beautiful quality about an abundant person as a person that is literally generous as well. And you're a generous person. It doesn't have to be money, but just an overall aspect of the self of who you are. And I really appreciate that as a as a friend and as a brother. I just want to mention that, and I want to wish you all the best of luck. In your journey, tell my audience how they can find you, where they can find you. If someone wants to learn more about what you're doing with with the men and the meditation and breathwork, or if someone wants to just get a hold of you or follow you, where's the best place that they can find you?
I think best is on my Instagram. Yeah, julius.rogonja. julius.rogonja. O G O N J.
Yes. Okay. So I'll have the name of the description as well on the on there on there. Is there anything else you'd like to share before we close up here? Any message to our audience? You know, my audience, just so you know, it's a combination of men and women from all around that are always looking to elevate their mind and expand their consciousness and to really just be a person who'll develop themselves to become a better version of themselves. And you're someone that, you know, like I said, walks the walk, talks the talk from a successful entrepreneur to someone that really is disciplined, to someone that's just had an awakening of becoming a conscious father. What message do you have out there for our audience around anything that comes to mind, brother?
I think what really helps me right now and what really I try to embody more and more, there's another mantra that I use every single day, is to slow down. You know, because there are moments in life where tend to rush and we have this stress in our body that we, I need to do this, I need to do that, I need to do that. But I try to embody the saying that the more you slow down, the faster you go. Wow. In your life. And slowing down, it means everywhere. When you eat, you slow down, the food tastes better, the digestion is better. When you drive, you slow down because you become more safer. When you read, slow down because usually we read, we want to just, we forget what we read. Slow down, you're going to have a better memory. And slowing down in the things like working out could be as well, you get better results when you slow down. And there's science as well. So the more you slow down, the more you connect with yourself because the stress goes down. You start hearing yourself more. You start hearing your true, you start hearing, feeling your emotions more. You start see what you need to accept there. And the more you have this acceptance deep down, the better you have a better intuition. You have, you know, to meet people and even the business.
Yeah.
The right decisions. I made so many wrong decisions, uh, to come to the place where I am. And I learned that if I could have just take it slower and just really think about it, really decide, but not just yes, yes, Yes, it's going to be much better. You're going to elevate, you grow in every single area of your life, and you're going to feel much better about yourself. So slowing down and accept. Oh, wow.
I appreciate that. That is so inspiring. I'm going to take that home with me. Slowing down. We live in an age and a city that is so fast, brother, in Dubai. Everything is fast, fast, fast, fast, and everybody wants everything quick, quick, quick. So it's so nice and refreshing to hear that as well, for myself and for our listeners, is actually slowing down gets you where you want to go faster. So thank you so much for that, brother. Thank you for sharing your energy. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, brother. I really appreciate you. And guys, thank you so much for tuning in. One more time, much love and positive energy. Bye.
