Confidence doesn't come first. You build it by acting, one decision at a time. Stop waiting to feel ready and start voting for the person you want to become with what you do next.
Who are you waiting to become? Confident? Ready? Good enough? Which one is it? Here's the problem. That version of you doesn't exist yet. Most people believe confidence comes first. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. They think confidence, then action. But life doesn't even work that way. Think about it. Confidence is created by evidence, and evidence is created by taking action. Every version of you that has ever existed was built one decision at a time. You don't become confident or courageous and then you take the leap. It doesn't work that way. You take the leap and courage is born. The identity that you're searching for isn't waiting somewhere in the future. It's waiting for you to start believing like that person today. Because every action you repeat becomes a vote for the person you're becoming. So stop asking, when will I become that person? And I would say, start asking, what would that version of me do next?
