In this solo coaching video, Sami Wunder responds to a viewer’s question about a man who, after four months of dating, says he isn’t ready to commit and is open to the viewer seeing other men. Wunder delivers a direct, cautionary answer: the viewer should not stay vulnerable or hope to change his mind. She explains that continuing to date him signals acceptance of his lack of commitment, reinforces his behavior, and sets the viewer up for heartbreak. Wunder characterizes the situation as a “hope trap,” where a woman believes she can win him over by being more feminine or using coaching tools, but she asserts that such tactics are ineffective when the man is fundamentally not ready for a long‑term relationship. The only viable path, according to Wunder, is to either (1) end the relationship if the viewer truly wants a committed partnership, or (2) treat the connection as a casual, no‑strings‑attached arrangement, being honest about having no romantic expectations. She emphasizes the importance of self‑respect, clear boundaries, and not lying to oneself about feelings. The video ends with a supportive sign‑off to her audience.

Hi everyone, this is Sami Wunder, your fiercely successful, fiercely loved coach. So the question is from a Wunder Diva who is seeing this man for the last 4 months, and she writes, Sami, he's wonderful in every way. I almost felt like we were falling in love when he started to withdraw. And then we had this conversation where he said that he's not ready to give me the commitment I want right now, and he's fine with it if I date and see other men. How do you think I can turn this around, and what should I do? Okay, so a very simple answer to this question is, do not, do not Make yourself vulnerable and try to have a relationship with a man who clearly tells you that he is not ready to give you the commitment you want. Okay, this is really dangerous territory. This is really— you're gonna set yourself up for heartbreak because he has made it very clear that he's not ready to give you what you want. And if you're looking for marriage, if you're looking for a proper, full-on, committed relationship, then you're not gonna get it from him because your question is literally telling me that you're still hoping that there is some way that you can turn this around. And to be honest, there's very little chance that you can turn this around. And if you continue to see him, if you continue to meet him, you know, you literally give him the signal that it's okay. Okay, so he knows that he has communicated to you that he can't give you what you want, and then if you continue to see him, if you continue to meet him for dates, if you continue to be okay with whatever amount of attention he's giving to you, then he's gonna be— he's not gonna feel guilty about it, he's not gonna feel bad, because he will feel like you're making a conscious choice as an adult to do it. Okay, so he feels that you are okay with lack of commitment, whereas you, on the other hand, are actually still staying in the relationship because you're in this hoping trap where you feel like by being more feminine, by being nicer, by being— I don't know— practicing all the tools that Sami Wunder teaches, you can turn it around. And I'm very sorry to give you the message, but it's Almost 99% not possible to turn things around when a man clearly expresses that he is not in it for the long term. Okay, so here's the thing. If you are looking for a committed relationship, then please do not waste your time with this man, no matter how wonderful he is. In fact, I feel it's really nice and honest when men do this. You know, they make their intentions very clear at the start. It is us women that we keep going on because we are in this hoping trap that maybe I can change his mind, maybe I can be more feminine and change his mind. And honestly, these tools do not work on men who are simply not ready for a committed relationship. Okay? So, unless and until you are 100% sure that you can just have fun with this man, Not care about the future, not care what he feels about you, you won't be heartbroken if from today to tomorrow he starts dating another woman. Unless and until you're 100% sure that you're gonna be okay with just having fun with him, I would not recommend that you see this man, okay? And I would not recommend that you waste your time hoping that things will change, okay? So make sure if you're seeing him that you're only seeing him for fun, you're only seeing him for practice, And you're not cheating yourself, you're not lying to yourself that you don't have feelings for him, because if you have romantic feelings for him, you're gonna be so heartbroken at the end. It's a very bad deal. He's just gonna string you along. If you're sleeping together, he's gonna enjoy your company, all the gifts that you have to offer, and he is probably going to believe that you're okay doing this. Okay, so he's not cheating on you, he's not making a fool out of you. He's already made it clear what he's able to give you, and if you're okay with it, it's not really his fault, right? Okay, so only and only and only if you can have fun, not be attached, not care about the future with this man, then see him. Otherwise, best is to cut it out. What you want is a long-term commitment, and he's not ready to give it. And as nice as he As he may be, he's not the one for you. Okay, so love you, Wunder Divas! You guys are amazing! Thank you for the hearts and see you soon again. Bye!
