In a Good Morning Arizona TV segment, relationship expert Sami Wunder explains "rotational dating," a strategy where women date multiple men at the same time without becoming exclusive or sleeping with them all. The approach is presented as a dignified, non‑promiscuous method that gives women control over their dating lives, preventing them from settling too quickly with the wrong partner. Wunder argues that high‑achieving, successful women often waste years on unsuitable relationships, and rotational dating helps preserve valuable time, including child‑bearing years. She outlines how the process works like a funnel: start with many conversations, then narrow down to a few serious prospects. A client story illustrates dating three men for two months, rejecting a girlfriend label, and eventually marrying the man who proposed after six months. The segment emphasizes the importance of honesty—being upfront with each partner about seeing multiple people—framing the practice as respectful and strategic rather than dishonest. The interview concludes with the host summarizing the key point: transparency makes the approach easier for everyone involved.

Rotational dating. So here to explain more about this unique experience is the CEO and international dating and relationship expert, Sami Wunder. Sami, good morning.
Okay, so rotational dating is not a promiscuous concept. It's actually a very dignified way for women to date, and it's all about dating more than one man at the same time, not sleeping with more than one man at the same time. So rotational dating is about not quickly becoming exclusive with any one man. Because what happens is very quickly when you meet someone, you like them, and you become exclusive with them, and you sleep with them, then afterwards you realize, oh my God, we're not compatible. Oh my God, he doesn't want kids. He doesn't want to get married. And so, a lot of my clients who are high-achieving, successful women, they tend to waste a lot of precious years of their lives, sometimes even childbearing years, spending time with the wrong guys. So, rotational dating in that sense gives the woman the dating power back into her hands. And she has the confidence to keep playing the field, not settling quickly for the first man she likes, and really taking her time to, you know, meet the person who is willing and capable of giving her the commitment she desires.
Yeah, I can understand that. So how many men should a woman date at one time?
Okay, I think at the start, every single woman should be speaking to lots of men. But the way we've seen this happen is that the funnel gets and thinner as you go along, because there's just only so much time. And you start to like, you know, 1, 2, 3 people. That's what you're doing. But I have a client, Veronica, who actually rotational dated all the way to the ring. She was tired of being in relationships which would never lead to marriage, and never lead to the kind of commitment she wanted. And so, she was dating 3 men at the same time for approximately 2 months, when the guy she really liked asked her to be his girlfriend. And that's when she said, you know what? I'm flattered you want me to be your girlfriend, but I'm not looking to be any man's girlfriend. I did that way back in college, in university. I'm looking for a husband now. And so I'm gonna keep my options open till you know that I am the one you want forever. And 6 months in, he proposed and they're really happy.
All right, well, as long as it works. And I guess we're out of time, but I guess the bottom line, you really need to be upfront with your partner. Hey, I'm dating several people just to let you know, right? And that makes it a little easier.
Absolutely, I think this isn't about being dishonest. This is actually a very dignified way of being courted and not sleeping around, but having many options.
All right, well, Sami, thank you so much. Good luck to you. We appreciate your time, and it's an interesting concept.
