Is He The One? Spot These 5 Red Flags Before It’s Too Late 🚩

In this solo coaching video, dating and relationship expert Sami Wunder outlines five critical red flags women should watch for when dating men. She explains why each behavior—(1) inconsistent communication, (2) emotional unavailability, (3) lack of personal responsibility, (4) disrespect for boundaries, and (5) avoidance of future/commitment talk—signals a low‑quality partnership and often predicts continued patterns. For each flag she provides concrete examples, describes the underlying mindset of the man, and advises women on how to respond, emphasizing that repeatedly addressing the issue is a sign the man is not the right partner. Throughout, Sami references her ten‑year coaching experience, serving over 18,000 clients in 90 countries, and promotes her ELEVATE program and free consultation as a solution for women seeking healthier, masculine partners. The video blends instructional advice, personal anecdotes, and a call to action for viewers to engage with her coaching services.

Today, let's talk about the 5 red flags I don't want you to miss out on when you are dating a man. I know so many amazing women who keep giving men the benefit of doubt, double and triple chances, and then end up being in less-than relationships. So often, you accept these less-than behaviors from men because maybe you have a fear of being alone, maybe you have a fear of never finding the one, but always Remember, my loves, it is so much better to be single and happy by yourself than to get involved with a man who just brings misery, tears, and unhappiness into your life. So let's look at the 5 red flags I never ever want you to ignore, no matter how hot, handsome, and attractive the man in front of you is. This is dating and relationship coach Sami Wunder. Now, red flag number 1, and most women don't even treat it as a red flag, but it is a major red flag, is inconsistent communication. Now, very often what's going to happen in dating is that men will come on consistently at the beginning. You know, that's when they're putting their best foot forward and trying to impress you as a woman. But over time, you might find in many dating dynamics that their effort and their consistency in communication reduces. So if you are finding yourself repeatedly seeing that the guy appears, gives you bursts of attention, compliments, takes you out on an amazing date, and then disappears for days without communication, then reappears in your life, in your inbox, without really having a reasonable explanation, and then just continuing on with that dynamic as if nothing wrong happened and he doesn't owe you an explanation. If that is going on, if you consistently feel like you're walking on eggshells, if you feel like the dates feel good with him in person, but then when he is away, you don't know how he feels about you, that is a red flag. Because here's the truth: no man does anything just one time. If you find that a man is body, with his communication, if you find that he has this cycle where he is really involved and intense with you, and then he disappears, and then he reappears, the likelihood that this pattern will continue is very high. And no man who is truly interested in you as a woman, is interested in future commitment with you, is interested in taking you off the market, is ever going to play such a poor game. So when a man goes in and out and is inconsistent with his communication with you, He definitely has doubts about his level of attraction for you and his interest in you, and he is 100% speaking to other women and still scouting for the best option. So what is the best thing you can do if you spot something like this? Maybe one time you can say, I prefer more consistency in communication, but let me know if I'm asking for too much. But usually, my life experience shows, and you know, I've been doing this for 10 years now, served over 18,000 customers, and help them attract healthy masculine men. When it starts to go down this path and you even feel like you have to talk about it, it's not the right person. Because the right person has the emotional intelligence to understand that, if I want to bag a woman, if I want to win the prize, I have to show up in my best energy and I have to make her feel safe, secure, and special in my connection with her. So yes, you can deliver that script, because I think it's very hard for women to feel like they're doing nothing or Why didn't I communicate? In the relationship world, there's a lot of advice on, if you don't like something, make sure you tell the person. I believe context matters. I believe that if I always have to do the hard work of constantly teaching somebody how to treat me, then I am basically signing up for that dynamic for the rest of my life. I prefer to attract a man who is intelligent enough, For the most part, like 80%, to know how to show up, because it's a sign of emotional intelligence. And then, of course, 20%, I will not assume that men are mind readers, and I will ask for my needs to be met in a nice way. But my experience shows, if this is happening in early dating, it's probably going to stay the same, and no amount of talking about it is going to change it. Red flag number 2, lack of emotional availability. So what this means is that the physical attraction is high. He's charming, you're charming, he's gorgeous, You're gorgeous, and the kissing and the touching and all of that fun energy is there. But the minute you go deeper, the minute you try to talk about maybe an issue you're having, a challenge you're having, maybe you tell him you're sad today, maybe you tell him you're lonely, it's your best friend's death anniversary— I'm making this up— he sort of only engages with you at a surface level, and he avoids anything deeper. This is a sign of emotional unavailability. And this is telling you about the man that he is interested in getting your assets. He's interested in getting your female resources. He's interested in getting you to bed. He will do all the nice romantic gestures at a surface level. And this can be very confusing for women, right? Because I remember one of my ELEVATE clients telling me that she was going out with this guy, and he was taking her to the most amazing restaurants and taking her to nice shows and operas and Michelin-starred meals. But when it came to going deeper, sharing about his feelings about his childhood, or sharing about his relationship with his family, he would completely cut her out. And not only would he not reveal stuff to her about himself, but he would also not really respond to anything she was sharing. And so she said to me, it's really confusing for my brain, because he's doing all the right things you teach, Sami. And so this is what you need to understand. It is not enough that a man offers you romance. What is important is that that romance and those romantic gestures are accompanied with emotional openness and availability, because that is what creates a real connection. Just spoiling someone with flowers and diamonds and taking them for a ride in a Ferrari is not going to give you the kind of quality relationship that you're looking for. And trust me, That's not my clientele, but there are many women out there who fall for the superficial things, but then they end up hurting themselves inside that connection. I know so many women who've joined ELEVATE, and they share with me, Sami, this guy, he took me to a first-class, all-expenses-paid vacation to Maldives. We had a great time, great weekend, but now he's doing this hot-and-cold thing on me, and I feel so upset because I think I feel attached. I thought we had such a good time together. And I'm like, that's just a superficial connection. For men with money, spending money on a woman, giving her diamonds, flying her a private jet to a great location and vacation, if they're getting sex in return, is not a big deal. And I know that because I'm a woman with money. I'm a CEO running a multi-seven-figure-per-year business. And after a point, money is not that important. What becomes important is more meaningful connection, more fulfillment in your relationships, your health, your family. And so these men who have a lot of money, they don't treat money that important. They are able to spend it very easily. And that is why, if as a woman, you haven't healed your relationship with money, and you over-prioritize money in a relationship, and you de-prioritize how a man makes you feel, you will often end up with emotionally unavailable men who will spend a lot on you, who will do all the grand romantic gestures, but they will pull back and withdraw and withhold when it comes to emotional connection. So, huge red flag. If you're a single woman, or you're even in a partnership with a guy where you are wanting kids, family, a more formal and serious commitment, and this red flag is showing up, it's a bad sign. But if you want to turn things around, definitely join us inside ELEVATE, and we can help you turn this around. I have so many success stories where, you know, using our 6-Step Love Success Framework, we have helped women completely shift the way they are showing up in dating and the kind of men they are attracting, and completely shift their dynamic with their emotionally unavailable partner. Now, red flag number 3, huge red flag: when a man lacks the capacity to take personal responsibility. So what does it mean to lack personal responsibility? It means that in any situation, I am unwilling to take a look at what part I played wrongly in that situation. So this would look like dating a guy Or being in a relationship with a guy where it's never his fault, it's always somebody else's fault. So if he's late, it was traffic. If he forgot your birthday, it's because there is so much work stress. If he didn't buy you a gift for the anniversary, it's because, don't you remember all he did the last year? And why can't you ever be compassionate? So this person will have a major problem saying, I'm sorry, I forgot, I take responsibility and I will make it up to you. It is very difficult to do life with a person who is not willing to take personal responsibility. And you literally have to see this pattern 2 times, and I wouldn't give a 3rd strike because it doesn't change. You see, people who always find the problem on the outside, who are never willing to take responsibility for their own behavior, they're extremely difficult partners to be with because everything is always somebody else's fault. And when everything is always somebody else's fault, we are also not in a growth mindset, right? So we will never learn where we could do better. And so we will continue to show up in the same way inside the relationship dynamic, which, of course, is going to be difficult for you to handle as a woman. Now, this is also, of course, applicable for women as well. It's not every time that it's the man's fault. And so in ELEVATE, it is so important for me that when we attract new clients enrolling into ELEVATE, We make sure in our consultation call, we are assessing for a level of personal responsibility within the woman, where she's willing to say, yes, I see this is about the guy, but I'm also willing to see that this is about me, that I am insecure, that I tend to have sometimes entitlement energy, that sometimes I get afraid and try to control the outcome and get into my masculine and start chasing men. Because if you are dealing with somebody who's not willing to take personal responsibility, you are dealing with somebody who will never grow. And that's not the kind of client I want to serve inside ELEVATE, because ELEVATE is about elevating our energy, elevating our self-awareness, elevating the way we show up in our relationships and dating dynamics. And for that, we need to have the courage to look at ourselves and take responsibility for the parts within ourselves where we might be sabotaging our relationships, where we might be showing up in an unhelpful way inside dating. or our relationship. And only through practicing that self-awareness can we practice new behaviors and make a real, lasting shift and transformation within ourselves, which will then give us new types of results in our relationships. Now, red flag number 4 is a lack of respect for boundaries. I cannot emphasize this enough. How a man responds to your boundaries speaks volumes about how he's going to treat you inside a relationship. You see, when I draw a boundary, I'm always observing for how the other person reacts. Do they get defensive? Do they shut down? Do they take it personal? Or do they just go, thank you for letting me know, thank you for being honest, and of course, I'm going to make sure that you feel comfortable, no problem. This is also just so hot in dating to experience when you muster the courage to speak your truth, muster the courage to ask for what you want, and the other person responds positively to it. Now, If a man is gaslighting your feelings, telling you that you're crazy, telling you you have too high standards, telling you you are high maintenance— when you say, stop flirting with the waiter right in front of my eyes, he tells you you're controlling and insecure— that is a huge red flag. Because what is a healthy relationship? A healthy relationship is one where your feelings and your boundaries are respected and taken into account. And if that is missing, I don't think there is a foundation for a healthy connection to develop in such a situation. Now, the final red flag is number 5: avoiding future talk and the development of intimacy, and avoiding any introductions and any, you know, basically a man avoiding bringing you into his world and talking about the future. Now, before I Before I expand on this point, if this has been helpful, I would love for you to show me some love. Give me a like on the video. Make sure to tell me which was the biggest red flag you noticed in your relationships that you have ignored in the past. Leave a comment. It truly means the world to me right now, and I would love all your support as much as you can, so that I can keep producing these videos moving forward. Expanding on the final red flag, avoids future talk, avoids family introductions. And based on my experience coaching inside ELEVATE, I would also say avoids bringing you to his home, avoids showing you his intimate space, because basically what he's trying to do is to keep the connection superficial. Some men literally do not want to enmesh you in their life. They will never introduce you to their family. They will never introduce you to their friends. They will never talk about the future. 2 months in, 4 months in, 6 months in, you start sleeping together. No commitment is on the table. No commitment talk is on the table. No future talk is on the table. Huge red flag. He is not looking for anything serious. No smart man in his right mind will ever not talk about the future, not talk about commitment, when he is serious about taking a woman off the market. So if a guy is not talking about the future fast enough, is is not enmeshing you in his life, is not introducing you to his family and friends, like 2 months down the line, this is a huge red flag, and I would not keep seeing such a person. What should you say to such a guy if he's not bringing up the commitment and future talk? If you want me to make a video on that, let me know in the comments below.
