In this short monologue, Sami Wunder argues that men often come to appreciate a woman's value only when she is absent. She explains that feminine qualities such as nurturing, kindness, pleasantness, and playfulness are highly desired by masculine partners, but when these traits are constantly present they can be taken for granted. By intentionally creating periods of absence, a woman gives a man space to recognize and stop taking those positive attributes for granted, leading him to value her contributions more fully.
