Men Fall in Love with Nurturing Women

In this solo video, dating coach Sami Wunder argues that men are attracted to women who embody nurturing feminine energy. She distinguishes genuine nurturing—soft, empathetic, supportive actions—from over‑giving or masculine‑type caretaking. Wunder outlines why nurturing matters, cites evolutionary and relational reasons, and provides concrete ways women can express it while staying in their feminine vibe: active listening, anticipating needs before they’re voiced, taking ownership of traditional homemaking tasks, offering empathy and encouragement during a man’s stressful moments, and enjoying personal passions like cooking or gardening. She shares personal anecdotes about caring for her husband and children, emphasizing that high‑achieving women can still be nurturing without reverting to 1950s gender roles. The video also warns against slipping into over‑giving, loss of self, or turning nurturing into a masculine caretaker role, urging women to maintain boundaries, self‑care, and personal fulfillment. The overall message is that nurturing, when expressed authentically and balanced, makes a woman highly appealing to an empowered masculine partner.

Every single male friend of mine, including my husband, confirms this. Men fall in love when you display the quality of being a nurturing woman. Now, there's a huge difference between being a nurturing woman versus a woman who's doing and giving and controlling in her masculine energy. So in today's video, I'm going to be talking about how you can be in your feminine energy around your partner, around the man you're dating, and still display the beautiful quality of nurturing as a feminine embodied woman. This is dating and relationship coach Sami Wunder, and for the last 10 years, I've been helping ambitious, strong, successful women find and keep amazing romantic love. So let's look at the conversation that is going around on feminine energy channels and dating advice that is floating on TikTok and YouTube right now. Most of it is about women being independent, being the prize, being in their boundaries, having standards. And to be honest, all of that is important. It is the high-value aspect of being a high-value woman. However, I think there is just not enough conversation around the sweet, soft, feminine aspects of being a woman. And I think the feminine quality of nurturing It's such a beautiful quality, and not enough emphasis is given on this quality today, because I think we're all so afraid of being taken for granted, of overgiving, of overdoing, of getting in our masculine. So today, I want to emphasize that if you are a nurturing woman, if you care about a man's well-being, if you care about being his cheerleader, his confidante, if you care about being the person he can turn to when he's stressed, then you should not be afraid of reflecting these qualities in your relationship, or even when you're dating. It is safe to be a caring woman. It is safe to want good things for your man. It is safe to worry about him if he's going through a very hard time, and to express that. Of course, you want to express it in a feminine energy way, not in a masculine energy way. Let's look at some of the ways you can be nurturing in your relationship, or or even within dating. I think the number one way women can be nurturing in a relationship, or even in an early dating dynamic, is when you are a good listener. I think so often we are so absorbed with wanting to talk about ourselves on dates, or even within our relationship, and we forget that just the sheer quality of being able to listen to your man The sheer quality of being able to listen to how his day was, what happened for him at work, what is hard for him right now, is such a gift to him. It's almost like when you go to therapy, you feel good because somebody sat there and heard you out. It's very similar for masculine men. And while I don't believe that a healthy masculine man will just vent and dump and put all his burdens on you, I think if you can stay there holding the space for whatever is going on for him, that is such a gift to a healthy, empowered, masculine man. Now, another way that you can be in the nurturing quality as a feminine embodied woman without overstepping into your masculine energy is when you are able to read a man's needs without him having articulated them to you. So I noticed this with my boys. I have 2 boys. And my husband takes them for their football practice. And once all the 3 men come back, it's late in the evening. They're hungry, they're tired, they've played a lot. My husband's testosterone is high, my kids are cranky, and they're hungry. I know that everybody's going to come back in that mood at home on a Wednesday evening. And so I love making healthy meals for them on Wednesdays. So of course, I have support at home, and I have a cook that supports us with cooking healthy But on Wednesday evening, when I know the family's coming back in the mood, I love cooking for them. And trust me, my husband appreciates that so much. He's such a masculine man, and he does and gives so much, but he loves to see my nurturing side. He loves to see that I care for the family, that I care for the home, care for the nutrition of my kids, and I care that my husband has come back after a hard day of work and is tired and he really appreciates that meal. And so, it is wonderful for men to experience that you can read their needs even before they can articulate it. Now, another way you can show your nurturing quality in the relationship is just by taking ownership of some of the more traditional female things in the household. So for me, for example, ensuring that the house is clean. So I have a cleaner. I know everybody doesn't have that, and my privilege is not taken for granted by me. But the truth is that when it comes to softer things in the home, like decoration or colors or keeping the home nice, my husband really appreciates that despite being such a busy woman and a CEO, I look after the homely aspects of our life as well, so that he has bandwidth to do more other stuff— managing our real estate companies or managing all our contracts, which are often in German and which I don't find myself competent enough to handle. So we have this beautiful dance of masculine and feminine going on within the household, where despite being a very high-achieving woman and making lots of money, I can see that my husband is proud of my qualities as a high achiever, but what he truly appreciates is seeing my nurturing, homemaking qualities as well. And this is not like some '70s or going back to the '50s conversation. This is really just being in touch with your feminine side. I'm honest with myself, I don't just get pleasure from succeeding and achieving. I also get pleasure from cooking. I also get pleasure from gardening. I also get pleasure from decorating my home. I also get pleasure from playing with my kids. And so nurturing is part of you, no matter how successful you are, how ambitious you are. These are qualities that, from an evolutionary perspective, you already possess as a woman, and all you have to do is get comfortable expressing them. Another way I can think of a woman being in her nurturing quality is when your man is having a hard time, whether you're in a relationship or even when you're dating, and a guy shares with you that he had a hard day at his work, or it's a lot, just being able to offer empathy and positive words of encouragement. So often, women can get so angry and edgy around a man who is opening up and being vulnerable about his challenges. Now, if you're dealing with a man who's more like in his boy energy, he's going to be complaining and dumping and venting, and then your intuition won't feel good around that. But I'm talking about an empowered masculine man having a hard day and then having the courage to share that with you because he feels safe with you. In those situations, I think it's so important to be positive and to offer words of encouragement. Tell him you trust him. Tell him you believe in him. Tell him he's got everything within him to get through this. And this will actually make you priceless to an empowered masculine man. Now, let's also quickly address some ways in which women can go from feminine to masculine while embodying the qualities of nurturing. I think one thing to be careful around is not to become an over-giver. When I think of nurturing, I always think of these soft, embodied qualities, which are more about soft skills. This is about being an empathetic person, a positive person, Being an encouraging person, being a kind person, touching your man softly, listening to him. But a lot of you may find that instead of embodying these softer skills, you're starting to go back to your overgiving and overdoing energy. I think that is something you have to be really watchful for, because nurturing does not mean you have to start washing everyone's socks, you have to start overdoing, overgiving, start cooking 3 meals a day, start cleaning everything, and basically forget yourself, gain weight, not make the time to meditate and look after yourself, not make the time for sex, not make the time for feeling like a woman, doing things that light you up, and then sort of overgiving and overcaring and getting in that caretaker role because you believe that is nurturing. I think it is really important to look out for that. Because nurturing is not about getting in your masculine energy. Nurturing is a quality you want to think about in terms of soft skills more than hard skills or hard doing and overgiving. And I think when a woman can be nurturing without entering her masculine energy, she becomes highly appealing to men.
