In this masterclass excerpt, relationship coach Sami Wunder challenges the common belief that a "keeper" is defined by a man's looks, income, or lack of obvious vices. She argues that these are merely minimum standards and that many women fall for men who meet them yet treat them poorly. Wunder introduces her core definition of a keeper within the "Wunderworld": a man who demonstrates emotional maturity and is willing to invest the masculine effort required to win and sustain a wife. She emphasizes that recognizing this deeper criterion is essential for single women seeking healthy, loving relationships, positioning the mindset shift as a foundational breakthrough.

Now, usually as a single woman, you might be thinking that a man is a keeper when he has a good job with a good income. You may also think he's a keeper when he looks great and he's handsome. Who here thinks this way? Give me a 1 in the chat box. He's a keeper when he's handsome and he makes good money. And hopefully, you know, doesn't do drugs and is not an alcoholic and doesn't live with mommy or daddy. Now, this is not at all how we define keepers in the Wunderworld, because this is not a keeper at all. I mean, how many times have you dated men who look great, make great money, and then treat you like crap? Or who look great, make great money, and they're womanizers, or they're players, or they are men who are just not willing to commit to you, or they're men who are workaholics and they will never ever make time for you and your family in your private life. So, my love, the most important thing right at the start that you need to understand and that I want to tattoo on your forehead is that a keeper is not just a man who makes good money and looks good. And that is unfortunately the kind of person most women are quickly falling for and getting their heart broken. But those qualities that I just mentioned to you, they are actually minimum standards in the Wunderworld. I mean, I work with celebrities, high-achieving women, doctors, teachers, highly educated women, and you don't deserve anybody less than that. So that should not be the definition of a keeper. That should be your minimum standard. Now, who already has had a breakthrough just by understanding that that stuff doesn't make a man a keeper? If you already had a breakthrough, give me a 1, because this is already the shift that is starting to happen right at the start for you as a single woman. So who is a keeper in the Wunderworld? In my work, in my philosophy, I define a man as a keeper when he displays emotional maturity and he displays availability to invest in the effort that is needed to win a wife. I'm going to say this again so that it lands. A man who displays emotional maturity and availability to invest the masculine effort that is needed to win a wife. And as I said, I want you to tattoo this on your forehead today. If you are looking to attract a healthy, loving relationship with a great man, you must learn to recognize the keepers from the time wasters as a foundational step.
