Austin Kleon's design book recommends posting a small piece of work every day to push past comfort zones and get feedback. Sharing publicly on Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter Spaces connects you with other designers and seasoned professionals who can offer real advice.
Chapters
This is one of the most impactful design books I've read. It is by an artist and author called Austin Kleon. In this book, he encourages creatives to share their work, and he talks about the importance of sharing your work as a creative. The 3rd section of the book encourages designers to share something small every day by sending out a daily dispatch. This helps you to get out of your comfort zone and expose your work to feedback, which is something you have to be comfortable with as a UX designer. Another benefit of showing your work is the It helps to put you out there so that you can meet amazing like-minded people like you, people that are on the same journey with you, or people that have even gone through that phase and are ready to give you advice or give you feedback on your work. It's also important to make sure that you leverage design communities on platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, especially now that we have a lot of conversations going on around different industries on Twitter Spaces. On Twitter Spaces, you could see people talking about UX. These are the kind of things that you should be interested in.
