Basement and crawl space waterproofing systems often come with transferable warranties that pass to new owners. When buying a home, work with your realtor to confirm the warranty transfers and understand what maintenance the system requires.
I think a lot of times people just need to be educated on what they are, how they work. Yeah. And a lot of people, they've never seen those before. But as long as— the main thing to know, the systems are very resilient and they usually have a transferable warranty. So if you're buying a home with that type of system and you love the home, just consult with your realtor, have them work on your behalf and get that transferable warranty so you're covered, so that the new person that owns that home knows how to maintain it and take care of it.
