And speaking of shopping, I've got to stop in here and grab some coffee for my interviewee that we're going to see down at the farmers market. One of the great features of Northport is the number and size of the various parks in the village of Northport and the surrounding areas. From Leelanau State Park, where the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum is, to Peterson Park, to Christmas Cove, to the Brayman Hill recreational area, and the parks that we'll see here in the village of Northport, there's a lot to discover in Northport. One of the major tourist attractions in Northport is the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum. 8 miles north of Northport. Northport also has some awesome events. You should definitely mark your calendar for these. The Fly-In and Pancake Breakfast at Woolsey Airport in early August, where these streets are filled with great live music, bands, food trucks, and product vendors. And every Friday there's an awesome farmers market down here in the Northport Marina parking lot. And Friday evenings is music in the park right here at the pavilion. So I wanted to take a quick stop here. One of the vendors here at the farmers market in Northport, very proud of this young lady who happens to be my daughter Isa, and I wanted to have her talk about what she does and the products that she offers.
So my business is Circles and Cycles. I focus on a variety of herbal remedies and botanical skincare. I specialize in a variety of botanical extractions, so distillation, oil extractions for different balms and salves, as well as teas and herbal tonic.
So if you come to Northport, you're going to want to check out the Northport Visitor Center. This is in a very historic building. This used to be where all the potato farmers that settled Northport used to store their potatoes for shipment out of the Northport docks here to the city of Chicago. So I wanted to sneak this little peek in for you on a home for sale on Northport Bay. 50 feet of frontage, a boat boathouse for a small to medium-sized boat. The property is right next to Northport Bay Boatyard that's in the business of repairing boats so that they can keep you on the bay. And then this great little cottage behind me, 600 square feet with a detached garage. If you're looking for an affordable way to be on Northport Bay, you have found it in this listing. You're going to want to check it out. Thanks for tuning in to the latest episode of American Dream TV. I'm your host, Sander Scott, and this is Northport, Michigan.
