Data about a property like square footage, taxes, and school district are just observations. They tell you what exists, not what it means or whether the place will actually work for you in five years.

Information is not the same as judgment. Think about the information buyers collect. How much acreage? How many square feet? The number of bedrooms? What the property taxes are? The waterfront frontage? How many feet of frontage is there? The school district? The asking price. What the zoning is. Those things matter. None of them should be ignored, but they are still only observations. An observation tells you what exists. It does not automatically tell you what it means. And it definitely does not tell you whether the property will continue serving you after the excitement of the initial purchase is gone.
