When buying property, skip the feature checklist and ask what you'll actually be able to do with it. Usability means thinking through maintenance costs, access, family needs, and trade-offs over time, not just what's there on closing day.

Property usability is not another feature to add to a checklist. It is a way of understanding that checklist. It asks, what will this property actually allow someone to do? Not just on the closing day, but over time in real life with the responsibilities, limitations, costs, maintenance, Access, family needs, future plans, and trade-offs that come with ownership. That is a very different question than simply asking what the property has.
