In this brief YouTube dialogue, Speaker A asks about the most popular boat types for sale in the Traverse City area. Speaker B explains that over the past decade, pontoons and tritoons have surged in popularity and continue to dominate the market. However, in the last approximately 18 months, new boat purchases have slowed as costs have risen, leading many buyers to retain their existing used pontoons, tritoons, fishing boats, and other vessels rather than buying new ones.
So let's talk about buying a boat. Sure. What are the most popular types of boats for sale in this area, in the Traverse City area?
Yeah, so Traverse City area, the last probably 10 years or so, pontoons and tritoons have just been huge. They've exploded in popularity. You're still seeing that. The, the new boat buying has slowed a little bit the last probably 18 months, just as costs have gone up on new boats. People seem to be kind of holding on to, you know, their used pontoon, tritoon, you know, fishing boat, whatever it may be.
