A homeowner discovers an unknown critter stuck in the wood-burning stove after falling down the chimney. Shannon's plan: tape a mattress bag over the stove opening, open the doors to coax the animal inside, and remove it before it escapes into the house.

So we have an unexpected homeowner problem, and something has come down our chimney. This is like a stove fireplace, and it's either a squirrel or a bird or something, and it occasionally is struggling to get back out. We're not sure exactly what it is. You hear that? So Shannon's idea, which I think is a good one, is, uh, we're taping up, uh, this big bag that, uh, I think Sawyer's mattress came in or something, and Then we're going to open up the doors and hopefully open up these doors right here for the wood stove and hopefully capture this critter, whatever it is, and then immediately get it out. Because obviously we don't want a loose squirrel or bird going throughout the house, even though we would be with it and so it would be home.
