Sander Scott shows what full-service real estate means by walking through a waterfront listing he prepped for an out-of-state client. He shoveled the driveway, hired a photographer, arranged power-washing, bought and installed a dock, and handled all the details so the owner didn't have to.

Hey there, Sander Scott here. I am out on Sutton's Bay, as you can see here. Stony Point, there's Sutton's Bay behind me. I'm out on the ice. I'm not ice fishing. I'm coming to you with just another example of what I do as a full-service realtor. You might be able to catch the stairs down from this listing. By the way, this is going to be posted after this is back on the market. But I've shoveled those steps down to Sutton's Bay, shoveled around, plowed the driveway. I'm here taking, working with real estate photographer, taking new pictures on the interior and doing some cleanup around ahead of this hitting back on the market. So this is just another example of full-service realtor, really. What it comes down to is solving problems for clients, and that's what I do. That's what any good real estate agent does. And in this case, instead of coordinating the work, I have coordinated other work for them, such as power washing. Um, I actually got my father-in-law down to, uh, to do some, some touch-up interior work. Uh, no big deal, but just stuff that needed to be touched up ahead of listing. These are the things that full-service real estate agents do, or in my opinion should do. It's about solving problems for clients. These clients, none of them— they inherited this house. They all live out of state. They need somebody to kind of look after things and make sure things are done well for the listing, and that's what I'm here to do. So people ask, what do you mean by full-service realtor? This is the kind of thing that I mean. It just doesn't necessarily just stop there. When You know, before the ice came in, this was listed last fall. It expired. It's going to be back on the market at a reduced price. Before that, I put out a dock here. I bought and installed a dock because I thought it was really important. It was something that I heard them say, "I wish Mom hadn't sold the dock." So I went ahead and bought a dock and had it installed, had it taken out before winter. It's sitting in my pole barn at my house waiting to be reinstalled on this waterfront listing or one that I get in the future, because if there isn't a dock, I think it's really important for a visual for buyers to be able to see the docks, that the dock is there and to use it. So anyway, I'm out here far enough out, pretty shallow water right here, so it'll be interesting to see. These are how sandbars are created, I think, as the ice has come out this far and now the ice is stopping the sand as the waves wash it in. So I'm going to walk gingerly on the ice and get back to see how my real estate photographer is doing with the new updated interior pics for this listing. And again, by the time you see this video, this, this will have already been back on the market and probably under contract. The purpose of this video is not to advertise the listing, but just to once again answer the question, "What do you mean by full-service realtor?" Well, shoveling is one thing. It's just work, so, and I don't mind hard work. There you go. Thanks a lot for tuning in.
