To add side spin to your vibora shot, lower the racket and rotate it horizontal so you brush the outer side of the ball. The key is starting near your head and sweeping around with a strong brush stroke, combined with game footwork like pivots and crossover steps to get into position.

And now we're going to focus on the contact for the vibora. So most importantly with the vibora is we want this lovely sidespin on the ball because that's going to be difficult for our opponents to defend. I'm going to change the height slightly, so I'm just going to bring this down just a tiny bit, and I'm also going to turn this so it's more horizontal. So we're at the side there a little bit more because the focus for me now is to brush around the outside of the ball. We're going to start with the racket almost touching the back of the head, and we're going to brush around the side of this ball, really throwing the racket Into this sidespin. And you can see here, you've got the guide here, and we're really pushing that ball around the side of that guide so we can get a nice brush on that ball. Now I want to make this realistic to a game, so I'm going to have a volley first. I'm then going to pivot again, crossover step, get in position, and throw the racket at the ball. Volley, rotate, come back, brush around that ball. Technical volley, back fast. Half turn. In position, going for the side spin.
