In padel doubles, call out the opponent's position the moment the lob goes up, not when it's about to land. Early calls like "He's in!" let your partner pick the right shot instead of scrambling. The difference between calling early and staying silent is the difference between winning and losing the point.

He's in! It's really difficult if you don't talk to your partner or if you tell him last minute because he can't change his shot. So as soon as the lob goes up, you are the communicator. You've got to tell him from the beginning so he can make a good shot choice. Okay, back, coming in. He's up, he's up, he's close, he's close! You can see it's so much easier if I've told my partner he's close. He knows what to do, and we end up winning the point.
