Good morning everybody. Sandy Weigt here with MSW Interactive Designs. And today I come to you with another marketing tip. We presented and we meaning MSW Interactive Designs at the Missouri Employment Conference a couple of weeks ago. And my topic was a formula for strategic marketing that has six components. And it's six components that we believe really create a very well rounded strategic marketing plan and marketing strategy. So the first one is to define your ideal client. And I have made some videos around this already and we have a free download available on the website for MSW, mswinteractivedesigns.com that will give you a template to build your ideal client Persona. And then the second step is to clarify your message. And we really like what Donald Miller teaches in his book Building a Story Brand. You want to clarify your message around a problem that you solve for your ideal customer and then how you solve it and what life looks like for that customer once they've worked with you. So once you clarify the message, you walk around with this one liner that you've created and it becomes an exercise in memorization. You get your team to memorize it, you memorize it and you are saying the same message over and over again, and then you carry that one liner through to your website. So step three in the marketing formula is to fix your website. So you want to make sure that your message is very clear. You use the one liner and then you have calls to action and other elements of the website placed where they need to be for the most effective results on your website. And we will talk about that in a future video as well. The fourth step is to build your social presence. So once you've fixed your website, you want to use social media to drive traffic to your website. And once you get traffic to your website, then you want to have a PDF, something of real value that people will exchange for an email. And you can get them into a nurturing funnel and a sales funnel. So, so you need to create these funnels that guide and nurture the prospective client through the relationship to the ultimate point of purchase. So relationships take time, right? So they might not be ready to buy when they first hit your website, but by getting them into a nurturing funnel and then a sales funnel, then you can get them to the purchase point over a period of time as you earn trust with that person. And then lastly, as you get through the funnel, the last thing is after they've committed, you want to make sure that you have what we call a customer experience plan. Very different from customer service. Customer service is a reactive act. Whereas a customer experience plan is a proactive, repeatable process that you actually use with customers to guide the experience so that you don't just have a satisfied customer. Instead you have a rating fan and a referral engine for your business. So that's the six piece formula. Define your ideal client, clarify your message, fix your website, build your social presence, create a lead or I'm sorry, a nurturing funnel and a sales funnel and a lead magnet to get people into that funnel on your website. And then have a customer experience plan so that you ultimately create a raving fan and referral engine for your business. In future videos, we'll talk about these in detail so that you can close more customers and make more money. Sandy Weige with MSW Interactive Designs have a great day.
