Okay, here we go.
Okay, so here's the thing, you guys.
We have a wonderful meal ahead of us, and we've had an amazing experience the last couple of days. And I told you I was gonna do this. I'm pushing on sitting down, and I shared with a couple that the. We have a caterer who cares. It's Tom's daughter, and they care about the quality of food you're going to be served. And so they don't want it to be overcooked, overdone, and all that stuff. They want me to have you in their line to get the food by 6:45 and no later. What we're going to do is go to the tables and do a takeaway from today or from overall whatever it is for you that resonates with you. And I am going to start with.
You guys look ready. And it can't be the same person. Mickey, can we get a mic over there? Are you okay? You have a second to think about it because Mickey's getting the mic ready and then TJ is gonna come over. This is important. This is important to capture.
So they're all family, so I'm not worried if Michelle's mad at Mickey or not. It's fine.
That's how it is mostly.
I'm sure it is. All right, who's going? It can't be the same person that went earlier. Okay.
You do.
Long time.
Listen, first time call. My takeaway today was that dude's generosity cards and the impact of the business size cards that you give away and then the postcards. I thought that was amazing.
I said I would give them some. They weren't here.
Nice.
I was like, is it sunrise?
No, they were. They missed that.
Yeah.
So that and the general generosity of the room and the level of generosity. Generosity and gratitude, like, not only in all the presentations, but in the people here. So I'm just really grateful to be included in this group.
Thank you.
You lead the way, cj.
I'm gonna kind of agree with Jeff.
You can't do that.
You have to pick some upstairs.
I'm gonna agree with Jeff a little bit about. I think the underlying theme that I got is gratitude. And so many people talked about it, so. So there had to be a reason why I needed to hear that or the group needed to hear that. And it could be that everything that we're all going through with all the changes and dynamics and then to really get to understand the impact I see her every day, but the impact that Amani is having on not just Me, but the community of St. Louis and the things that she's doing, there's so many great things, but I think those are things that kind of stood out.
He's going, I'll go.
As a first timer here, I would.
I don't know when I have felt so much love in a room. I don't know when I have experienced so much love and immediate acceptance and belonging.
And Dr. Hill, that's because of you.
It's what you started.
And it's real. So that's what I just love that I was able to be here for all of it.
Thank you.
All right.
For me, it's the. The ripple effect of Dr. Tom Hill because we're sitting here in undivided wealth. And Gary Baker, who's been in and out this weekend, would tell you, he's told me that he built this entire place on everything he learned from Dr. Tom Hill, working with him for years. And my connection to Gary came from Brian Lunt, who worked with Dr. Tom Hill for years. And then to look at the people in the room that I've gotten to meet in the high caliber and quality on all aspects of life, from Jeff Hartman and everything he's doing to Care Link, we're going to get to hear about Kevin Monroe, who I happen to sit next to at the Purpose of It in Charlotte a few months ago. And then it's crazy how he's here today and I love it. I mean, in a way, I was connected, but it was because of Sandy, who's been just taking the torch and moving it forward with intentionality. I see God winks with intentionality. So it's not just, oh, that, that's nice. No God wink and then action. And so both are part of this group as a whole. And this just freaking awesome.
All right, so mine is that J. Chung Jay, that conversation on care, I don't know why it hit me. The caring piece, meaning when you address something with care, is don't rush through it even when you're eating. Just the care for chewing your food every morsel and not taking seven bites and having it go down or hanging out with somebody and actually caring and looking at them. How many times do our partners at home, we got so used to them. Familiarity breeds contempt. We get so used to. We don't actually even look at them anymore in that way that here, the true word of care, your job, when you go to your job, we just get through it. We're getting through so many things now. The attention span, as they say, seven seconds. We're scanning, we're just distracted. So this idea of care that he brought up really impacted me. This idea that slow down. Actually care about a friend. Call them that.
Eight minutes.
Everybody see that?
Eight minutes.
Do you have eight minutes? I think it's one of the speakers they talk about.
Eight minutes.
Do you have eight minutes for somebody that you can call me anytime? That care piece really hit me. And even in my business when I'm working with people is this idea that again, how many times you gone home to your partner and just really looked at them, truly looked at them. Not just look past them, saw them, and slow down. Like it's been. I know you've been around them for years, decades, but slow down, really look at them and care. Bring back care. So I think that's a big thing for me. That really impacted me for some reason.
Awesome.
So I was not doing well when I came here. I'm place of despair with my physical health, mental health business. It's the bottom. And so I had what I thought was a big vision. And God was like, no, you're not thinking big enough. And also opened my eyes to that. There's just a much bigger audience that needs what I have to give. And trusting the Lord for that. And then the send the text, the gratitude text. My daughter and I have had a really rough relationship and so texted her my gratitude for her. I don't put a lot of stocking emojis, but getting a heart emoji back from my daughter.
I just take from it. I didn't know it's my first time here, so I'm grateful to be able to see a group of people that have that characteristic of hope and appreciation and all these down at the center of the business because you, you rarely, rarely see that when you go into the secular world. They don't really, truly don't implement this type of what we got here today. So I'm grateful I picked it up and I am going to use it more and more.
So I'm grateful.
Thank you.
Okay, this is what you've all been waiting for, the food. So let's do a table at a time. I'll release a table at a time about a minute apart so that you're not standing in line at the buffet. So let me release you guys first. So go ahead and go get your meals and I will send another table behind you. Is there anyone in the room that's hangry? Because I'll take care of you next.
Perfect. Okay.
You know what? Sit down, sit down. No, never. Mind. Never mind. I was thinking I would do it when we got back, but everybody's going to come back at different times. Yeah. Amani, would you please come say a blessing? Thank you, Marie.
I'm a boss.
Details. No, I appreciate this. Sometimes logistics escapes me. It's fine. Can I pray? You can. You're alive.
Oh.
No pressure.
Sorry. Lord God, we just thank you, Lord, for just all the blessings that have just poured out through this weekend. I just want to say thank you for every person in this room. God, I just. You're just an amazing God. Thank you for having time in the room on today, God, we're just grateful for all the seeds that he has planted. Some plant, some water. But it's you, God, that gives the increase. And so we just bless you on today. We just pray for our food. Let it be clean and pure for us. We know we will enjoy it and let us just continue just to enjoy the love that's in the building. In Jesus name, Amen.
Amen.
Thank you.
Okay, you can get back up. Go ahead and go, Marie. Thank you so much. And if you didn't get a drink or need a drink, this is a good time to go and bring it back in. Yes.
Okay.
While that's going on, I'm going to pause the live.
I don't know. I don't think so. I think they have plates there, but I don't know. Let me find out. Good question. I think it is logistics.
