This short YouTube marketing-tip video ("Give some love, get some love!") features Sandy Wardenburg Waggett of MSW Interactive Designs giving practical advice on how to get more customer reviews: ask happy customers, provide direct links, and reciprocate by writing positive reviews for businesses you've worked with to encourage them to return the favor. The clip ends with a challenge to write reviews for three companies you’ve done business with in the last few months and a brief sign-off/branding statement.

Good morning, everyone. Sandy Waggett here with MSW Interactive Designs. And today I have another marketing tip for you. We write a lot of blogs and newsletters here at MSW revolving around the power of testimonials and reviews when marketing your business. It's really important for your organic Google rankings as well as social proof for your customers and prospects. So I get a lot of questions as a result of that regarding how you can get more reviews. Very simple answer to that is ask. You want to ask your happy customers to give you a review, and you want to make it super easy for them by providing them a direct link to the place that you want them to give you the review. Now everybody gets busy. Lives get challenging. The world's crazy right now, right? So people say, yeah, I'll give you a review, and then they kind of never get around to it. A simple way to overcome that is to go and give a positive review yourself. Go give a review to someone that you've done business with and that has done business with you and then send them a link and say, hey, I just wrote you a positive review on Facebook or on Google or in TripAdvisor, whatever it is, here's a link. Check it out. When you have a moment, would you take some time to give me a review about the experience you had with me in the past few months? Most of the time, when you have taken the initiative to give the review first, people will reciprocate that. So my challenge to you today is think of three companies that you've done business with in the past, let's say three to six months that have also done business with you. Go write them a review today and reach out to them and say, thanks for the great service, thanks for the great experience. I just wrote you a review. And oh, by the way, if you have a minute, I'd love it. If you take the time, here's a link to write a review for us as well. So that's my marketing tip for today. It's very simple. Give a little love, get a little love. Sandy Weige with MSW Interactive Designs. We put the web to work for you. Have a great day, everybody.
