Okay, so welcome back to the Visibility Transformation Challenge. If you're watching this live, thanks for joining us live. If you're watching it on YouTube later, make sure you stick around to the end. This is a really important training and it's going to give you some information and resources that you can use to leverage to produce what we call evergreen content. And Damani's joining us right now. Let me let her in really quick. Welcome, Imani.
We are going to talk about building evergreen content and it is just what it sounds like. So it's the word comes from evergreen trees who in theory don't lose their leaves like other trees do. They're green year round. So that's what evergreen content means. So it's not timely content. It is content that's made for longevity. The advantage to investing your time building evergreen content is that it builds intellectual property around your business and your brand, which if you're in the service business, that is super important because as a service business owner myself, we tend not to have a lot of assets in the form of equipment and things like that. Down the road is your business ages and you're thinking about selling it or turning over to employees or whatever you plan to do with your company. The more intellectual property you have, especially as a service business, the more valuable the company becomes. It also grows your authority in the space, which helps you close more deals and it creates leverage. And I'm going to show you how evergreen content creates leverage because it allows you to produce content in bulk more quickly and it's content that is relevant and useful to your ideal client. So I'm going to skip this. I'm going to talk about what you've accomplished so far in the visibility challenge at the end, and I am just going to dive right into evergreen content to start. So evergreen content, like I said, is content that stays relevant over time. And I'm not just talking like weeks, I'm talking months and even years. And ultimately that content that you create continues to drive traffic, build authority and generate leads for your business and goes to work for you while you sleep or while you recover from shoulder replacement surgery, which I am. And I'm going to show you some numbers as how the MSW evergreen content worked for our company while I was laid up. And I'm still laid up, but, well, I was really laid up for seven to 10 days immediately after the surgery and really couldn't do anything. So it works for you while you sleep, it can be repurposed and it becomes intellectual property in your business. And so if you're thinking like, what exactly is that? I don't even know what that means.
It varies by business, and you can certainly leverage AI to help you determine great ideas for evergreen content for your business. That some quick things like how to guides, videos that answer questions that you get all the time from customers and prospects. It can be list posts or what they call listicles or carousels and tips, signature frameworks that your company has developed. And if you've been in business for any length of time at all, you might not have documented it yet or given it a name, but you probably have a signature framework that you use to deliver the products and services that you deliver to your customers. Lead magnets so lead magnets are quality pieces that you offer on your website in exchange for contact information. So people who come to your website don't necessarily convert or are ready to do business at the time, but they come to your website with a problem or a question they're trying to solve. And so you offer a lead magnet that they can download and then you take that information, their name, email and telephone number, so that you can nurture that relationship over time and ultimately pull them in as a client. And then quote cards Quote cards are great because they have longevity to them and they can be reused. And people share quote cards, they save quote cards, they download them and then post. I do it all the time. Every morning I post a new quote and I go find quotes from people the quote cards branded. I'm basically pushing that person's business book, whatever it is, who made the quote. So quote cards are a good example of evergreen content that people like to use and share. So why it matters. So you.
