Good morning, everyone. Sandy Waggett here with MSW Interactive Designs. And today I'm here with another marketing tip. So I want to talk about Google a little bit. And the idea of Google is really a myth. And if you think about it, businesses try to optimize their website so that they all rank well. And the reality is, is that not everybody can rank on page one of Google for a generic search term. It's just not possible. So how do you get Google on your side? Well, the best way to do that is to build a brand, a product or service that becomes the go to in the marketplace. So people are searching for you specifically. When people search for you specifically, Google wants to return you. So you win every time. You will come up number one. Now how do you do that? Well, that's where content marketing comes in and a lot of repetition. So offering value through the content that you produce and the free information and resources that you give away to prospects and customers positions you in the marketplace as the expert. So when people need a product or service like yours, they Google you. You come up number one and it's a win win. That's what Google wants. The generic terms, we can't all rank for those. And that's okay. You don't want generic customers. You want people who trust you, know you, and want to go to you. They become brand advocates and referral engines for life. Sandy Waggett with MSW Interactive Designs. I hope this marketing tip helps. Have a great day.
