Hey everyone, Sandy Waggett here with MSW Interactive Designs. And today I come to you with another marketing tip in the form of a book recommendation. The book I'm well, I could get a show. The Invincible Company. This book is incredible. It has four authors whose names I cannot pronounce, so I'm not going to try, but just look it up on Amazon and I'll include a link below. But this book is geared toward actually businesses of all sizes. But my audience tends to be smaller businesses and entrepreneurs. And the great thing this book does is it directs you on how to read it based on the level that you're at. So I want to just start by telling you how they define an invincible company. So an organization that constantly reinvents itself before it becomes obsolete. What have you had to do with your business to reinvent yourself even since COVID so so that you don't become obsolete? The Invincible Company explores the future while excelling at exploiting the present. The invincible company cultivates an innovation and execution culture that lives in harmony under the same roof.
It competes on superior business models and transcends traditional industry boundaries. So what do you do in your company that transcends traditional industry boundaries? So as an example, just in that area alone, MSW is a 22 year old company and I can't tell you how many mentors throughout the years and honestly still do say Sandy, you cannot give away free updates to websites with your $35 a month hosting. And back when I started 22 years ago, it was $20 a month you'll go out of business. But that has become a boundary that we disrupted in our industry because no one else was doing it and it made perfect sense to do it. What is it in your business that you're doing differently than your competitors? We can just disrupt, just get rid of the boundaries that are traditionally there. The book also goes into how to create more value for your customers, for your team and of course for the owners and for society giving back. And then it asks some questions and gives you ideas how to create sustainable profits as industry shifts as you know just the country shifts as things happen in the world. How are you making your business invincible? How do you add value to your customers and maximize opportunities in the marketplace? If you think about just Covid as an example, how many companies went under because they were not able to adapt? And then there were companies in the same exact industry that thrived because they were able to think and innovate and adapt to the situation and to the market as it as it stood during such a terrible time. So as an entrepreneur, how are you adapting and disrupting? And then how are you exploring new ways to create value around market opportunities for your company? So I really encourage you. I'll put the link in the post. Get, get to the invincible company and start asking and answering, executing on those answers. And hey, you know, if you, if you're local and you want to get together and talk about some ideas or by zoom, about how MSW Interactive Designs can help you adapt and innovate in the online space around your company, imagine the things that you can do online that you're not doing now, just beyond a website. You know, what could you do to offer value training, education, incentive for your customers? We can help you with that. So Sandy Waggett at MSW Interactive Designs. Have a great day everyone. I hope this marketing tip helped.
