In this Lime Voice podcast episode, host SPEAKER B interviews long‑time chronic Lyme sufferer Beth Ober about her extensive health struggles and the transformative role of bovine colostrum (and the seaweed‑based Limu Z) from Anovite. Beth recounts decades of misdiagnoses, invasive procedures, and ineffective conventional treatments that left her with severe joint pain, muscle weakness, respiratory issues, anxiety, and skin problems. After a pivotal encounter with a practitioner who introduced her to colostrum, she experienced rapid improvements in gut health, joint pain, lung function, anxiety, skin condition, hair, nails, and overall energy within weeks to months. She explains the biological rationale: colostrum’s 7,000+ constituents, including IGF‑1, lactoferrin, and proline‑rich polypeptides, support gut lining repair, immune modulation, and can cross the blood‑brain barrier via its natural fat carrier. Beth emphasizes three quality pillars of Anovite’s product: (1) it is non‑defatted, preserving the fat carrier; (2) it is harvested within the first six hours after calf birth, the period of highest bioactive potency; and (3) it undergoes five‑stage organic testing with publicly released third‑party results. She discusses practical usage—half‑teaspoon powder or three pills twice daily, topical paste for skin, and seasonal dosage adjustments—along with affordable pricing (≈ $15 / month for colostrum, $56 / month for Limu Z). The conversation also touches on emotional aspects of chronic illness, such as unwanted identities, shame, and the importance of community support, referencing Brené Brown’s work and the host’s coaching services. Interspersed are sponsor spots for Invita Medical Center and TickWires, and a brief promotion of the host’s book “Little Bite, Big Trouble.” The episode blends personal testimony, product education, and community encouragement for Lyme warriors.

Don't you love those people?
Oh yes, yes.
I have a couple of them in my life too, and it's like, yeah, that person helped me not die. Yeah, right. That person was a saving aspect of my journey.
Exactly. And then I was like, okay, but I don't have quality of life. I, I just feel like the pain, um, I couldn't get up off the floor, my muscle weakness was so bad, and these issues were chronic. So the, um, the lungs, I was getting asthmatic bronchitis issues all the time.

Welcome, friends, to another episode of Lime Voice, and I'm so thankful that you are here with me today. Today we're going to talk to Beth Ober. Beth has been a natural health enthusiast for the last 15 years after a long struggle with chronic Lyme disease. Her and her husband Dave have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. They've been self-employed for more than 31 years, and Beth loves helping others build up their immune system and achieve a better quality of life as she did through the Anovite products. So I have not brought a ton of products on just because we talk about different supplements and stuff. But this product specifically has been a game changer for me. We actually recorded it a couple of months back, but I have now been on colostrum for the last 5 months and you can't see it, but my skin looks amazing. After getting reinfected in 2018, I have dealt with really bad deep-seated acne and rashes, mostly around my mouth and face and nose, um, and this product has just made a huge difference for me in helping my gut. And so I wanted to share it with you all. Before we get to the interview and learn all about colostrum and the benefits that it has, I want to read a I'm reading Brené Brown's Dare to Lead book, and I really like Brené Brown. She talks a lot about shame and vulnerability, which is what we talk a lot about because we are all, um, through this illness living with identities that we don't want. And Brené Brown calls them unwanted identities, and she gives her own personal experience of going through a process where she had a concussion. She fell through some glass and she had a concussion. And as many of you know, traumatic brain injuries and Lyme disease with the cognitive dysfunction are very similar in how they impact people. And many episodes back, I interviewed my sister Stephanie Richards because she went through a traumatic brain injury that completely changed the course of her life, and it has taken her multiple years to get her life back and to not be controlled by all the repercussions of that. So I want to read a part of Brené's book because I want you guys to know that what you are going through— the unwanted identities, the feeling of shame, um, just feeling like you're doing your best on a lot of levels and it's not getting you where you need to be— that is all normal, because what you are going through is real and unfounded. Unfathomable. And so this part of her book, her experience with the traumatic— with a concussion lasted a few months and had a severe impact on her and her family for about a year. But for those of us in this chronic Lyme community, we have been living this reality for so long, so much longer than one year. And it's interesting to me that people who have gone through much shorter periods of trauma or unwanted identities, they still have to wrestle through those same feelings of shame. I'll read here. Researchers Tamara Ferguson, Heidi Irie, and Michael Ashbaker have found that unwanted identity is one of the primary elicitors of shame. They explain that unwanted identities are characteristics that undermine our vision of our ideal selves. Sick, unreliable, and undependable are huge unwanted identities for me. As a 5th generation German-American Texan, I grew up— I grew up believing that illness is weakness. Not in other people. In other people, it's human and okay, and we should support and help. But in our family, being sick is lazy, and if you're tough enough, you can walk off anything. Trust me when I tell you that no one who lives by this loves it, but the shame is so enveloping that it's hard to break free. Unlearning this belief has been one of the hardest and most painful lessons of my life and a battle I have to constantly refight given the culture's reinforcement of it. But I will continue to fight and talk about it because I do not want to pass this belief down to my children. It's a terrible way to live. 5 days after I hit my head, I couldn't function. I had a black eye down to my cheek and a huge bruised forehead. I couldn't read, watch TV, look at a computer screen, or be in a bright light. It hurt to think. And the harder I tried to get back to normal, the worst it got. Every time I pushed, I regressed. I had wrestled away the shame self-talk about canceling the events with some self-compassion and empathy from my team, but now I was feeling shame about losing control of what I believed made me me—my mind. A friend sits her down and says, "I know this is scary and you can't even describe it to other people, but it's real. And the harder you fight it, the worse it's going to get and the longer it's going to take to heal. You can't win this fight by being tough. You can't fight your way back. You need time. This is real and it's scary when your mind stops working. You're going to have to find a way to let things go for the next few weeks." Sound familiar? Yes. And for a lot of us, it's not a few weeks and it's not a few months, it's a few years. And it's usually a few years with multiple family members. You know, whatever identities are being shoved on you at the moment, whether it is weak or unreliable or lazy, just know that what you are going through is real, that people are not going to understand it. There is not understanding of Lyme, um, And then there's a time limit too on how much grace most people will give someone who is sick. So we get it. That's why we're here on air, is that we live these crazy lives and the rest of the world has only been battling COVID-19 and the medical and financial fallout for a few months, and that's how we've been living for years. So yeah, you're gonna have some identities that you don't want And that's what I want you to just hold on to, that, that might be your identity for a little bit of your life right now, even a few years, but that's not who you are. Okay? Some of you know that I do Next Step Coaching for people with chronic illnesses. I've been doing it for a number of years. This is the type of coaching program for people who are having to jump every hurdle in hell. And I've been saying that lately because it is so freaking true. Hello.
You have so much beautiful hair. Oh, thanks.
Uh, tell you what, these products my hair couldn't grow and it was thinning. And yeah, I mean, it's like that much longer than before I started the products.
Oh, that's awesome. So how long have you been on them then?
Um, it's been about 2 and a half years. Oh, okay. Yeah.
Okay.
So it does take time with some things, some issues that I, um, basically I, I've been— I've— we've been self-employed for 30 years. I have 5 kids, 9 grandchildren. I've been a stay-at-home mom. So about, I would say 10 years ago is when I started with some symptoms and they were slow coming on, the symptoms, the stomach issues, a lot of, you know, they were saying maybe, I'm sorry, my mind's going blank. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. So they ended up taking my gallbladder out. They said a lot of things, you know, stress. You got 5 kids, it's probably stress.
They told me that so many times. I was so pissed. I'm like, I had all my kids on purpose, people.
Yes, I know. I was like, I am not stressed. I'm stressed because you're telling me that I'm stressed. That's what's making me stressed. But anyway, had my gallbladder out. They said there really wasn't anything wrong with it when they took it out. Then I had my esophagus stretched because I couldn't swallow, and it was like, okay, what is going on? I just went through a process of all of these different tests and nothing was showing of what the problems were. Then they started going into my heart. So then I was having heart palpitations and my heart would flip-flop around. And again, anxiety, they say it's just stress. And so I was just getting really frustrated because I even remember the point where I said to my doctor, there's— it's like there's something outside attacking my body and it's just affecting this and that and everything. They just kind of look at you like, Okay, well, we're just gonna go after this symptom or that symptom. And so through all of this and realizing they really didn't know what they were doing, they wanted to put me on a heart— a beta blocker for my heart. I'm like, I'm not taking a beta blocker for my heart. So I decided to go more on the natural route. And I— so I found somebody that diagnosed me with Lyme. I had never even thought of the word Lyme. It wasn't a thing, you know, 10, 12 years ago. It just wasn't something people talked about.
And where are you located? Where are you?
I'm in Pennsylvania. Okay. So it was relatively probably within the last 5 years that it became a really big thing here. But before that, it was just not heard of. And so I started on a path of an— on the natural path of treatment. And I had the Babesia and the Bartonella and the other co-infections that go along with Lyme, but it was affecting my joints. Just getting that burning in your feet and hands and all the issues that, you know, you hear over and over with people with Lyme, all the unrelated different types of issues. So, you know, the tachycardia, I felt like I couldn't get enough oxygen. And trying to explain this to a doctor, they just say, here, take this anxiety pill. But I was like, no, it's not like the anxiety, it's like I can't breathe. So it would be like you're running a race and you're just constantly always feeling like that.
Um, I know, air hunger. I've tried describing that symptom to my— that was one of my very first symptoms that started at like 18. Is I couldn't breathe and I'd been an athlete my whole life and all of a sudden I'm sucking wind on the soccer field and when I'm laying in bed trying to fall asleep and I didn't ever hear that term air hunger for years and years but I'm like, yeah, I could never breathe fully. Yep.
And that— once I went to the naturopath and she gave me a word for it, it almost made me cry because I was like, there's an actual thing? Like I'm not crazy. Right. You know what I mean? And so She had treated me with many different things and antibiotics and natural products for 4 years. And you know, I'd get better and then I'd get worse and then I get better and then I get worse. And then I got to a point where I felt like my system was shutting down. I mean, I had the adrenal fatigue, my adrenals basically weren't functioning, my thyroid, and it was just more and more things kept happening. I got to a place where I became septic. So I, it went like into my bloodstream. I thought I was gonna die. I mean, my husband came home, remember that day? And he said, you're gray, like you are, your face, you're gray. So at that point I found, I stopped doing all those treatments because I felt like my system was not receiving any antibiotic treatments and any of those things was just really, causing more issues than it was helping me. And so I did find another lady that was helping me with energy testing. Muscle testing? No, it was more— it's electromagnetic energy testing, where it was based off frequencies. So she really helped me, I feel like, not die. I was at that place.
Don't you love those people?
Oh yes, yes.
I have a couple of them in my life too, and it's like, yeah, that person helped me not die. Yeah, right.
On some level, Dr.
Sin was a saving aspect of my journey. Exactly.
And then I was like, okay, but I don't have quality of life. I just feel like the pain, I couldn't get up off the floor. My muscle weakness was so bad and these issues were chronic. So the lungs, I was getting asthmatic bronchitis issues all the time. The anxiety, I would get panic attacks. And, those things were just, "I can't live like this." I was beginning to have the grandchildren, they were just coming and I feel like I can't even— I'm laying on the floor to babysit them so they crawl on me. That was how I would watch them. This is not living. So, I was on a search. I searched for every kind of product, every kind of— I bought a BioMat, I bought a Beamer. I just like—
[Speaker:DR_JUSTIN_MARSHALL] I want a BioMat so bad.
Yes, I love it.
I really love— I have a friend and she would share hers with me, and then we moved and now I'd have to get my own.
Oh yes, and it really helps with the achy muscles and all of that. Yeah.
Um, okay, so you're on the hunt. We gotta figure this out, get your life back. What are you operating at percentage-wise physically at that point?
Like, um, at that point I was probably at 60%. I wasn't like feeling like I was going to die. My heart issues really resolved and that, but the joint issues, the brain fog, the chronic fatigue that's just debilitating. I mean, you hit— it hits you, you have to lay down. You have to lay down. Those things were just really affecting my quality of life. So a friend of mine that I had talked to about a year earlier, but I wasn't in the right frame, you know, it's kind of—
Oh yes, you heard something that you didn't actually hear because Yes, I have a friend and he says a confused mind says no. And I have found that as I look backwards on my journey, there were times that I heard something that could have been helpful and I shut it out for a variety of reasons. Yes. Okay, so what was yours? What was your moment?
Well, my moment was she started talking to me about colostrum and I thought she was talking about collagen. I just didn't register. I'm like, collagen? I know, okay, I'm— I want to look young, but really at this point my life, I'm concerned about quality of life, you know? So it just kind of didn't register. And then I saw her a year later and her whole countenance was different. She had lost, I don't even know how much, 70 pounds, I don't know. She looked 15 years younger. She was off 17 medications and that caught my attention. So I said, okay, what is it you're talking about? So she's like, I'll give you a sample. So she did. She sent me a sample of colostrum and of Limu Z, which is another product. I started on that. It was a 2-week supply. Yes, that's the Limousine. And there you go, that's the colostrum. Okay. I started on them not really thinking it was going to do very much because I've been on products 6 months and they're like, you got to give it time, you know, 6 months. Okay, I'm still not there. Um, but within the 2 weeks I felt something happening. I wasn't really sure what, but my stomach started to feel better. Um, and I just felt a little better. So I was like, okay, So I kept taking it, and probably by 2 months, by the end of 2 months, my joint pain was gone. And I had pain in every joint— wrists, shoulders, knees, ankles— and I wasn't feeling that anymore. So when I get up in the morning, you know how you're just like, yeah, well, that hurts, stiffness. And I was feeling, when I would eat, I didn't have the stomach issues that I was having. Just some, some things like that were happening. Now fast-forwarding The anxiety is gone. That took maybe 6 months of no more anxiety. The last thing to go was when I flew on the plane, and I think it was the germophobia thing, you know, being enclosed and afraid of getting something from somebody. That would cause me to have a panic attack where I'd have to take my, my lorazepam or whatever I was on. And I no longer have the anxiety issues. The lung issues, that took me probably 2 full seasons of fall, Spring and then back to fall again. So almost like a year to feel that no more asthma, no more bronchitis issues. I haven't been sick with that stuff in like 2 years. Well, probably almost. Yeah. So, and then you get the other benefits of the skin, the hair, nails, you know, the anti-aging benefits of colostrum. The thing about colostrum, and this is what I did, I knew what it was when she said it again, it's what you get from your mother when you're born. It's like, okay, I know what that is. So this is from bovine, which is 99% bioidentical to human colostrum. Okay. Colostrum's one of the main purposes when a baby's born is to heal the gut lining because it's very porous intentionally when a baby is born. It will heal that gut lining so that no more— nothing's leaking out causing inflammation in the body. And so when a baby doesn't get the colostrum, you know, you have the colicky, you have all of those things that are happening for that, for that baby, but it also has 7 700 constituents that they've actually done research that there is— there are things in colostrum that are time-released for 40 years, 50 years later in a person's life. No way. In the immune system. Yes, it's really crazy. Whoa. Yeah. And so all of those, the, the, um, the IGF-1 superfamily, there's 87, um, there's over 100 growth factors in colostrum which are things that we have when we're young, but when you get to be, I think even starting at 20, they start to decline. And by 30, you basically don't have very many anymore. So this is why we age and why, you know, things happen really quickly. Sometimes it seems like too quickly with the aging, but the anti-aging benefits are really an extra bonus to me because I felt like the quality of life issues was what I was really looking for. And I mean, there's just so many things in colostrum from the lactoferrin which, if you look up, lactoferrin is actual cancer-killing agent. The PubMed.gov has, oh, thousands and thousands of articles on components of colostrum. And they actually do take components out of colostrum for different things, like the proline-rich polypeptides. If you get any kind of anti-aging anything, you'll pay a lot of money for it, but it's actually coming from colostrum. The proline-rich rich polypeptides is actually what balances the body systems. So what I felt like, my immune system was compromised and I couldn't get it back no matter what I did, no matter what vitamins, no matter what mineral, whatever I tried, it didn't get that back. And when I got on the colostrum, that is where I feel like it changed my health.

Colostrum, that is where I feel like it changed my health because I feel like it repaired my gut, which allowed my immune system to repair itself. And so that, that's kind of where I felt like that's what I was looking for and I just didn't think I was going to find it. But now I have seen it help so many people and not just Lyme, but with any kind of autoimmune issue. Whether it's an underactive one or overactive, it balances it out. So it's a smart supplement in a sense because it as a whole food is— it's not synthetic. So our body knows what to do with it and it crosses the blood-brain barrier. So this part is 700 components. So this part goes to that and this— it knows, your body knows exactly what you need. Even as far as people gaining and losing weight, So a person that's extremely on the thin side because of health issues and they can't gain, it helps them to gain weight. But then somebody like myself, I want to lose like 10 or 15 pounds, it helps your body to lose weight. So it's really amazing how it works that way. Hmm.
Wow. So, okay, you said it crosses the blood-brain barrier. And yeah, how does it do that?
Well, the fat in colostrum is what actually helps it to do that. The fat is a carrier protein that helps. And even when you're on other things, so if you have to be on a medication or, um, for something like diabetes or whatever, when you take colostrum along with anything else, it helps everything be more bioavailable. So we've had times where people have to lessen their lessen their medication through their doctor's supervision, of course, because it's working better. Like, what they were currently doing is now actually doing what it should have been doing or was supposed to be doing. So now the Limu Z product is quite interesting because if you look at colostrum as— they call it mother's milk from the land— Limu Z would be like mother's milk from the sea. In other words, the components of it are very, very similar to how colostrum interacts. Products. There's, there's several different types of brown seaweed algae in the Limu Z from all parts of the world where it's like the blue zones of the world. I don't know if you ever heard that. Yeah.
Yeah.
Yep. Where people don't have heart disease and cancer and things because they're consuming these seaweed products. And colostrum is the base because again, colostrum is a base for all the products that we carry just because it is the thing that helps our body be more bioavailable so that everything can be absorbed better. But the Lemisia is great for neurological issues. It's great for brain health, preventative, supporting the body when you're thinking of preventative things like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, you know, preventing— we don't want to get those things, right? So it helps to detox heavy metals out of the brain and out of the body through those, the phucoetins. And all the different ingredients that are in there that are like the Laminaria japonica, these are all seaweed-type components and they're very, very potent. So a lot of products out there, they'll say a word like açaí berry, right? And it's literally a drop of the juice. But in the Limousin, it's all concentrated. So when you're looking at the fucoitan, for example, is a brown seaweed algae. There is 40 pounds of that in every pound of the limousine. It's very, very, very concentrated. Wow.
Huh.
Yeah, so it's a high quality in, in that product. And a lot of people will notice within 1 or 2 times of taking it, they'll notice like, wow, I feel like my brain woke up. All right, you know, it's an energy but not in a stimulant type of energy. Yeah.
I agree. Actually, I was going to say that I— well, one, it tastes good. Yeah, which is so rare. Um, I was like, oh, this is a better supplement than I usually have. But I felt the same way. I felt like neurologically— I have dealt with a lot of Lyme carditis with this second infection, and it's gone down almost— it's hardly there anymore after going through treatment at Invita. But I will have days where I wake up and my heart is just racing for no reason, and it usually wakes me up or something. And I have noticed that I felt like this helped calm my neurological system, but not in that over— not too much. I— it just felt a little more settled. Yes.
Yeah, it's not stimulating it in the sense of now I feel like hyper. And the neat thing about it is I take one at night So I take it in the morning and it really wakes me up for the day, but I take it at night and it helps me rest better because it is a calming— it's a, it's a calming, um, type of thing. Yeah. And again, our body knows, okay, it's time to go to bed, it's time to sleep. It's so— it's a smart supplement in that sense too.
So you've been on it for how many years now?
I've been taking the products for about 2 and a half years. Okay. And at times I will— I will— they call overdose, but you can't— you can't take too much colostrum. There's no amount that's lethal. In fact, interesting, water is lethal if you drink too much.
It can kill you. Okay.
Everything has a lethal number, right? To a degree. Colostrum does not have one. There is no lethal amount that can kill you. Isn't that interesting? I mean, I don't think there's another substance on the earth like that.
Huh, I've never heard that, but yeah, interesting.
So at times, you know, you have different times of the year or seasons when it's very damp, you know, you get those times where you're a little more achy, or I'll increase the amount that I take and it really— it will help flush out things, flush, flush things out, drink with drinking a lot of water. So there's been times where I feel, oh, there's everybody sick around me, you know, I used to pick up everything. Yeah, so I would double up on it.
Well, I've actually had some very stressful things unfolding, and so I've been taking 2 a day of these. Oh yeah, yeah. So for me, it's funny because we get pitched products a lot because of the podcast, and a while back I just started telling people basically like, if I hear— if I hear about it enough times, like between 3 and 5 times for people I actually know that have felt benefit from it, I'm like, okay, I'll listen. But then we get so many people contacting us that I started just saying send send some to us, we'll try, right? You have to try everything on yourself, or I do anyways. That's— yeah, after so many years of being on so many things, I'm like, I have to experiment on my own body. And so, um, I've been taking it for, gosh, at least 4 weeks, but I think it might even be longer than that. And okay, one of my biggest issues again with the second reinfection has been I've had this like deep-seated acne on my face, like as if I am a teenager. Oh boy. But way worse. And like, it's scarring. Sometimes I will have a zit for like 3 or 4 weeks. And so I haven't changed anything. And when I was at treatment getting like hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of IV vitamin C and all that, of course everything goes away. And yeah, this is the only thing I've changed in the last few weeks. The only addition, the only thing I've— I haven't taken anything out. I've just changed that. And my skin has, like, even this week, I think it's 5 weeks in, is better than it has been except for at treatment when I was getting tons of stuff. It's the best it's been in a long time.
So that is great. Another thing that you can do with skin topical is take the colostrum powder and make a paste of it and put it right on your skin like a mask. Okay. That is really great. I mean, for psoriasis, for acne, for eczema, pretty much any kind of skin issue, even wounds. So if you had surgery and you want the scarring to heal better, you know, making that paste and putting it directly on and just kind of covering it. Yeah, that really, really helps that.
I'm going to try that. I'm glad you said that. Yeah.
Yeah, and I just wanted to say, like, there are a lot of colostrum products on the market, so there is a very specific reason that our colostrum works as well as it does, and there's 3 things. One is that it's not defatted. So when you ask me about how does it cross the blood-brain barrier, the fat is the carrier that does that. So when they defat the colostrum, they take it out and they put other carrying agents in. They say it works better in the stomach to keep— but nature knows more than man. I'm sorry. Oh, for sure. And, and the whole product knows how to interact. It knows how to protect itself with the chymosin that's in there to keep the acids in the stomach, you know, and all of that. So when you take the fat out, you're taking a good portion of the way that interacts in the body away. So that's the one thing. We're not defatted. The other thing is it's tested organic, 5 levels of testing. So it's tested from the, from the farm in depth, like 3 different levels of testing there. And then once it gets to the factory, the, the manufacturing plant, it's tested. And then the last one is actually released to the public. So it's a third-party test, um, for all the things you don't want in there, you know, the pesticides and all of the things. Um, that's really huge because I don't know another company that has a released third-party test of their colostrum. They'll say organic, or they'll say, but they don't release the testing to the public.
I know what organic means in farming and farming with CBD and you have to let your soil rest for X number of years. What does that mean in a bovine sense? What does organic mean? They were fed organically or?
Well, yes, they are fed organically and grass-fed, but the organic testing is different than organic. Organic. Is a label that a lot of times it's, it's really a money-making thing. And organic doesn't necessarily mean that there aren't harmful things in there. There's a— it's a very fine line. Yeah. So you're actually better that you're— or get tested organic because that means the end product is organic, doesn't have the pesticides, herbicides, all those things in there. So there's a difference between— okay, okay.
Yeah.
The third one was that it's truly 6-hour colostrum because a lot of them on the market are harvested 12, 24, 36 hours after the birth of the calf. And for cows, the colostrum is a specific 6-hour period. It turns into transitional milk after the 6 hours. So if you go to 12 or 24 or 36 hours, you're your potency of that being a whole colostrum product is like 70% by— I think it's by 12 hours. Huh. Yeah, it's, it's really, really important. And so our colostrum is guaranteed to be true 6-hour, and they actually had some studies, and Cornell University did testing on that, and ours was the only one on the market that was truly 6-hour colostrum. So I— when actually, when I got this product in my hand and I felt it doing something, my husband and I, we flew to the manufacturing plant because at that point I was like, I'm not spending money or buying products that aren't going to help me. I'm tired of wasting money. We were, I mean, financially so much in debt. I mean, it hurt our traditional business because my husband's time, he felt like he couldn't leave me home alone at times, right? Absolutely. And so we were just like,— the stress it put on our marriage, feeling like such a burden, just all of that, that I just— my heart goes out to people. And I just like to reach out to people now because I know what hopelessness feels like. And it's just a bad place to be. So anyway, we flew to the plant and we met with them for a whole weekend, which was really awesome that these people would take that time with just me. I'm like nobody. I mean, it's like they didn't know who I was, to show me around and what they do and how they process everything. And, you know, that was just really impressive to me. The company is owned by Dr. Kleinsmith, which he has been producing colostrum for over 28 years. And he's a manufacturer, which is also another very important point, is you got to know who is manufacturing it and is it in the States, you know, and, you know, how are they doing it on the— how are they setting it up on the farms and that kind of thing.
So that was— those things matter when you have spent years and tens of thousands of dollars trying to find products to heal your body. It's not— it's not about that one product in and of itself. It's how it works with other products, the bioavailability, and then what's the manufacturing side of it? What's the planting side of it? Like, how deep does— and when you find someone— we just did a CBD interview, and because we found this company that We've used CBD and it's been very beneficial, but we found an organic CBD company right here in our area and went and looked at their farms because I'm like, oh, that means that that product is going to be good now and 2 years from now, right? Right. Like, it's not a fad. It's not— it has to be reproducible. Re— it has to, has to prove itself over and over again. And you You find that when you find people who have created quality products based on their area of passion or expertise. And so that depth of knowledge and caring matters, matters to me for sure.
Yes, definitely. And I think in the day and age we live in, I think it's even more important to people. You know, trust is a big— is a big issue. And knowing you can trust a company and that they have a backing of years, you know, of experience and research. Behind them is important. Yeah.
Yeah. Okay. So the third one was the 6-hour colostrum. Yes. Okay. Okay. Beth, how do people get in touch with you if, and I mean, with any supplement, I always tell people you have to give it a few months. Yes. Yep.
Most of the time, a good 2 to 3 months is, is definitely a good amount of time. Yeah.
So how do people get in touch with you?
Okay, well, um, my— should I give you my email?
Well, how do people normally order?
They would get in contact with me through email or, or through my phone number and just give me a call. I can help them set up. I also have a website that they can go to. Okay, I like the website. Okay, my website is Beth Ober, so B-E-T-H-O-B-E-R. Anovite.com. And I do like to help people get the wholesale price. It's free, it doesn't cost anything. A lot of times if they'll go on themselves and order, they might not get the wholesale pricing right away, so I like to make sure they, they get that. I, you know, we— and Dr. Kleinsmith also, his goal is, is really to help this become available to everybody, not just You know, I'll tell you that in the beginning, how he came up to start doing colostrum was he worked in an anti-aging clinic in California, and they were selling what I was talking about, the PRPs and injectable. So they were— he was in the lab because he's a PhD in nutrition. So he is not a doctor, but he has a PhD in health and nutrition. So he was in the lab and he realized they're pulling this stuff from colostrum and they're charging $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 a month. To these mostly Hollywood people and things like that. And he was like, wait a minute, I grew up on a farm, I know what colostrum— why wouldn't we just offer them colostrum? And of course they were like, no, because we want to charge $15,000 a month. Yeah. So that was his journey, and that started like, I think, 28, 29 years ago. And he started doing research on whole product colostrum. And when he realized the power of the whole product— now see, another thing is A lot of companies want to defat, they want to standardize because then they can say, well, we have a corner on the market because we do this certain processing and that's why ours is better. And then they patent that, but it's synthetic and you can't patent a whole product, a whole natural whole food product. It's not as profitable. Right, so, you know, the profit's not there. Like, and that's why he has kept his product to be a pure 100% because he believes in it. He believes in the product. And he doesn't— it's not all about the money. You know, money is involved with business, but it's not the driving factor. It's really to get the product at a low cost for everybody to be able to afford it.
So, so what is a typical month cost then, Beth?
That's a great question. Like I said before, there is a serving size, which is a half teaspoon twice a day if you're doing the powder, and if you had the pills, it's 3 pills twice a day. That's the minimum amount. And if you did that and you say you bought the largest 2-pound colostrum is what it comes in, I believe it's like $15 a month.
So it's really affordable. Gosh, that's so cheap.
Yeah. Yeah. Now the Limu Z product is a little more expensive. Like I said, it's a very costly product to, to make, but that's $56 for the 30, 30 packs for, for one month. Which still isn't, isn't terribly bad. I mean, I think for what it does—
the pills, is that different than the powder?
It's the same thing, it's just in a different form. The powder is actually— I feel it's easier because pills you should take on an empty stomach, whereas the powder you can mix it in your food, you can put it in your coffee and your shakes or whatever you're doing currently.
But you could do a month's supply of the two of these for around $75. Is that what you're saying?
Is it that— okay, the pills are $35 for a month's supply and then $56. So yeah, about, you know, with shipping, probably $100. Yeah.
Okay, awesome. Okay, so bethober.anavite.com. Mm-hmm. And give us your phone number and email as well if people have questions.
Okay, my email is bethober@gmail.com. I try to keep it simple. And my phone number is 717-821- Awesome.
Okay, well, yeah, and you know what's interesting for me, because I've had this skin stuff on my face now for about 15 months, and it did go away during treatment and then came back when I came home. And but it's a, it's a deep-seated skin stuff. It's like a weird dryness, weird acne, weird different stuff, and And to the point where you can't even cover it up with makeup sometimes. Like, I will just get these weird red pimples all over. And the thing that I feel like this has done is it's not just off on the surface. Like, I can feel it not coming up because you can feel it.
Like, it's not like you can feel it underneath. Yeah.
When you're having gut stuff, you can feel it come underneath. And so no amount of topical is going to do anything. I take supplements, I juice, I eat a pretty clean diet. Like, it's not about that. And right then, this recurring thing that I've been fighting. And so I'm excited to keep, keep taking it because I feel like it really has made a big difference in my skin. That's great.
Yes, you can even mix a little bit of the limousine and the powder when you do to put it on your face too. Yeah.
Well, yeah, you look amazing. And thank you. Beautiful. And lots of lovely hair.
Oh, thank you. Thanks.
I had—
oh, I tell you, it takes a toll on you. And then I did look older. I mean, for a period of time, I was just really thankful when I got these products and how it helped my skin. I felt like I had less wrinkles and my nails. And yeah, muscle tone is also great for that too. It helps to maintain lean muscle as we're losing muscle as we get older every year. Yeah, I've noticed a difference with the muscle tone. Yeah, awesome. I think you were gonna say something there.
Oh no, if I did, I, I was just thinking, I'll take muscle tone. Oh yeah, yeah, I have to work hard for that, so I know, right? Yeah. Well, thank you for being here with us, Beth. I really appreciate your time and your enthusiasm, and thank you for reaching out and introducing me to this product. I really have enjoyed it.
I look forward to hearing how it continues to go. Yeah, before you— yeah, well, thank you. Thank you. Thanks so much for having me.
Hi guys, I want to let you know about a book I wrote called Little Bite, Big Trouble, and I'm gonna read a review that recently came in. This is from Carolyn, and she says Thank you so much for writing your book. It has become the means by which I have explained Lyme to my 4-year-olds. They ask for it to be read as a bedtime story over and over again and love that the mama birdie does yoga and juicing like their mommy. I can't thank you enough for writing this book. It has helped my family so much. You can find it today at amazon.com, Little Bite, Big Trouble. Disease is contrary to life. Therefore, wherever disease exists, life must also fight to exist.
