In this bonus episode of the Lyme Voice Network, the hosts—chronic‑illness warriors, caretakers, and advocates—open with a mission to inspire and educate the Lyme and broader chronic‑illness community. They draw a parallel between the COVID‑19 pandemic and the long‑standing challenges faced by Lyme patients, highlighting shared issues of misinformation, lack of understanding, and inadequate medical support. Acknowledging the severe economic downturn caused by COVID‑19, they express concern for small businesses that serve the Lyme community, such as tick‑prevention product makers and healing‑focused practitioners. To support these vulnerable enterprises, the hosts announce a free‑advertising program that runs until June 30. They outline eligibility (any product, clinic, counselor, or practitioner that aids healing, excluding MLMs), required submission items (a source code like LINEVOICE20, a 60‑word description, and functional contact links), and promotional channels (show notes, Facebook, and other social media). The episode also notes the rapid expansion of telehealth as a beneficial side‑effect of the pandemic, emphasizing its importance for immunocompromised patients. The hosts conclude with a call to action for listeners to submit qualifying businesses and spread the word, reinforcing the community mantra “fight, heal, live.”

Welcome to another episode of Lyme Voice. This is a bonus episode, and I got good news, man. Times have been tough. COVID-19 It's ruining our economy. It's keeping us isolated. I mean, it's really— it's, it's interesting to watch because it's really similar to Lyme. COVID, what the rest of the world is experiencing right now, this is what Lymeys have been dealing with for a long time. Misinformation, lack of information, lack of understanding, lack of doctors that understand. Everybody's throwing out these theories, and then there's conspiracy theories behind it. And maybe they're right. I don't know. We don't know. The same thing with Lyme disease. I mean, it's, it's kind of like, I told you so, you weren't listening. See, we told you this, the system was this bad. And if anything good comes out of COVID maybe that America will see how bad their system is and recognize diseases like Lyme having the same struggles. In any case, for the one thing that is— doesn't matter what it— what disease it is, disease is expensive and disease takes a lot of money. Right now we are experiencing an economic disaster, a world economic disaster not seen before by any human. I mean, this is— these are unprecedented times. So as a Lyme advocate, Sarah and I, we are very concerned about this because there's a lot of small businesses suffering, and a lot of those small businesses are small businesses like, uh, Jennifer Knapp at tickwarrior.com. You know, she got sick with Lyme and she wanted to produce a product, and she has a tick spray that prevents, prevents, uh, bugs and prevents infection. And that is the only way to really save yourself in this situation when it comes to ticks is protection. You need prevention. In any case, that was birthed out of her Lyme journey, and in her Lyme journey, it cost her a lot. Everybody that's dealt with Lyme knows how expensive it can be. It's really expensive. So a lot of times these small businesses are birthed with very little money, like Sarah and I, and we try to give back to the community. These businesses are in jeopardy right now, and these businesses provide vital services to our community, to the Lyme community, to the chronic illness community. And, um, so what we're going to do— here's what we're going to do— free advertising, okay? You send me your information and we're going to advertise for free because we as a community need to come together and support our small businesses, especially the Lyme small businesses. Okay, so if you have a service, uh, you know, uh, of any kind that helps people heal, that's what we want. Let me look at my notes here. Who qualifies? Basically any product or person that helps with healing. Okay, no MLMs, sorry, but we want clinics, products, counselors, practitioners. Bring them on. People need to heal and we need to help, uh, help these businesses. So here's what I need from you. If you're a business— well, first of all, if you know of a business, please pass this on. And at the bottom, I'm going to have all the show notes and everything you need in order to submit this right to me. I'll get it and we'll add it to the next episode. Okay, um, did I say it's going until June 30th? Ends June 30th. Okay, what I need from you: a source code. Okay, this helps us track, and this is also a great way for you to offer discounts. Put in the source code LINEVOICE20 and you can get 20% off, for example, right? Something like that. So, uh, if— and so I'll need a source code. If you don't have a source code and you still think you qualify but you just don't have that, some, you know, some companies don't need that, like, uh let's say telehealth, maybe you might not need that. You know, telehealth is really expanding too. There's that. If something good that I see out of, out of COVID is that telehealth is expanding. And for us, that's been huge. You know, we don't want to get out there and, and be infected and be around all the sick people, regardless if it's COVID or it's the flu or if it's just a cold. We're susceptible. We don't need to be around that. Telehealth is cool. Okay, so a written— the next thing I need, I need 3 things. First thing, source code. Second, a written description, 60 words or less, elevator pitch, right? What's going on? What's your company do? Put it 60 words or less, that— give it to me. There's this form, just fill it out. That's third thing. Wait, third thing, I'm missing a finger. Third thing, links, info, but make sure they work, right? Make sure your links work, make sure your info is correct— address, email if applied, address, website, that sort of thing. We're going to attach these to the, uh, these companies to the show notes, and we'll also be doing some Facebook promotions and social media promotions along with this. Okay, so please If you don't know, if you have something, please feel free. It's free advertising. Bring it on. I want to, I want to, I want to make your business work. Um, and if you know of somebody that could benefit from this, pass this on to them, okay? We want to help. God bless you all, and fight, heal, live, huh? All right, let's do this.
