Scott Perry challenges Simon Sinek's "Start With Why," arguing that purpose isn't fixed but evolves as you do. He points to older frameworks, some from 3000 BC, that treat purpose as something that can change over time.

Most of you have probably read some of my little rants against this idea that Simon Sinek has around Start With Why, that your why, your purpose is fixed and it's fixed by the time you're 20 and it's absolute. It's the only purpose you're going to have. I believe that as evolving creatures, we're entitled to an evolving purpose. If what Simon says works for you, I say stick with Simon. If what Simon says doesn't always work for you, there are other perspectives that are vetted and time-tested and true by virtue of the fact that they've been around since 3000 BC or before.
