Scott Perry breaks down the three elements of a coaching offer that actually converts: who it's for, what they want in their words, and a specific promise with measurable results and timeline. He transforms vague offers like "I help women overcome burnout" into concrete ones: "I help exhausted female sales professionals recapture 3 hours every day in 30 days so they can spend more time with their kids."

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay if you've been waiting for the last minute or so, but, uh, pleased to be here on LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, uh, doing a live broadcast about creating an irresistible offer. So here's the deal. If you are a coach, a consultant, a teacher, or a healer, or maybe really any kind of online business owner, if you're not meeting, filling your programs and meeting your monthly revenue goals, it's going to be because of one of three essential things that are not quite optimized. It's going to be either your offer, your audience, or your sales strategy. And in this video, if you gimme just 3 to 5 minutes, I'm gonna talk about the three core elements of an irresistible offer, an irresistible coaching offer that will help you connect with the right audience so so that you can get them into your programs and start meeting those monthly revenue numbers and making a better living while you make a bigger difference. If you don't know me already, my name is Scott Perry. I'm Chief Difference Maker at Creative On Purpose, and I'm an Encore Life Coach that helps people define the difference only they can make so they can play their game in the second half of life and help fund their retirement. And again, in this video, I'm going to talk about the 3 core elements of an irresistible offer, and I'm going to demonstrate how you can turn a weak offer into a much more robust and strong offer. If you watch this to the end and you would like more resources like this one, you can just leave an 'I'm ready' in the comments, and I'll be happy to share additional free resources. And if you are ready to really catalyze your progress in reaching those monthly revenue numbers, making a better living while you're making a bigger difference, and you want to join 9 fellow travelers inside a program called the Coaching Business Prescription, we have 3 seats left in this weekend's, um, session of the Coaching Business Prescription. 3 days, we're going to build an irresistible offer and find an eager audience and put together a 30-minute sales success strategy, all over the course of just 3 days. So let's get to the presentation here. Gonna start with bringing up my slides. And we'll go this way. So here we are inside the Coaching Business Prescription. And this is the lesson on creating an irresistible offer. So I would love for you to just take a minute and try to go ahead and let's start where you are in terms of your coaching offer. In one sentence, what are your coaching offer's headline? This is who it's for and what they want and the promise of value, the result that you help them achieve. And if you're watching this in replay, I'd encourage you to pause this video right now and then go ahead and, and try to articulate this. Can you do this in 3 sentences? Can you do it in 2 sentences? Can you do it in 1 sentence? If you have a, an offer that's longer than 1 or 2 sentences, it's probably getting overlooked simply because it's too long. But we're going to look at how we can unpack the core elements of an offer so that people who need the difference only you can help them make seek you out and hire you to help them make the difference only you can help them make. So if you're ready to move on to the next section, here are what I believe are the 3 elements of a powerful coaching offer, the kind of offer that resonates with your ideal clients, that engages them and makes them eager to connect with you and work with you, and so that they can make the change that only you can help them make. And those 3 core elements are a clear call-out of who it's for those you specifically serve. Now, in the, uh, Coaching Business Prescription, we have a, a whole lesson on dialing in this audience around the demographics and psychographics, the language that they use, the places that they gather. But you probably already have some sort of an idea of who it is that you're calling out, who it is that you specifically serve. After you do that, What are the clear— what's a clear statement of what they want? What's the desire that they have? What is the problem they want to solve or the aspiration they want to achieve? And then finally, third, a clear articulation of your promise, the result they will get from you, the result that only you can help them achieve. If you were to come be a part of the program, a lot of clients will come in with an offer that is something like this: I help women overcome burnout and thrive. This was an actual offer that someone came into the very first session of the Coaching Business Prescription with. Now, there are some good things going on with this offer. They have distilled down that at least they want to serve women. Of course, that's half the human population. They want to help them. They have something that they want to help them achieve. They want to help them overcome burnout. And they have a result that they, they want to provide them with, which is a sense of greater thriving. But these are all pretty weak terms. Right now, if you're watching on LinkedIn or Facebook, you're probably familiar with seeing coaches that are confidence coaches, clarity coaches, trauma coaches, which is a dangerous one I won't get into, burnout coaches, There's— these things are so ubiquitous right now, they actually mean nothing. And the fact of the matter is, clarity, confidence, overcoming burnout, getting more energy— these are things that are side effects of any good coaching. Any good coach is going to help you get clarity around the thing you want clarity about. Any good coach is going to help you get— gain confidence in the thing you want to gain confidence about. Any good coach is going to help you set up the processes and systems, set goals and strategies, that will help you avoid exhaustion and burnout. So putting these, these kind of ubiquitous terms in your offer really don't make them stand out at all. In fact, people just gloss right over 'em cuz it's kind of the same old, same old. So let's see what we would do in with an offer like this in the Coaching Business Prescription. Here's the more robust, robust offer that we came up with. I help exhausted female sales professionals recapture 3 hours every day in 30 days or less so they can spend more time with their kids. Now, there is a lot more specificity in here, and some people say, oh, I don't want to get too specific because I don't want to, I don't want to weed out my audience. But the fact of the matter is you need to niche down to the point where someone can see your, the description of them and say, that's me. And that's exactly what I need. So we went from, I help women overcome burnout and thrive to, I help exhausted female sales professionals. Okay. So we're talking, we've reconfigured burnout around the way that they talk to themselves, which is I'm exhausted all the time. We're speaking to a specific type of woman, a professional who's in sales. We have a specific specificity around what we will help them do, which is recapture 3 hours every day, and we've compressed it in a very short period of time, 30 days or less. And then we've got like this little secret kind of, um, covert demographic identifier so they can spend more time with their kids. So now we're talking to women that are parents, maybe even single parents, but we're speaking to their ultimate desire, which is, um, they need to invest in themselves so that they can show up better for their children. So this is an example of how we go from a weak offer to a strong offer, an offer that gets passed over to an offer that stops the scroll on social media, that leaps out when it lands in their inbox, that, um, comes across in a YouTube video, an Instagram reel, or what have you. So with these ideas in mind, and again, if you want to quickly circle back, the 3 elements of the, of a powerful coaching offer are clear call-out of who it's for, those you specifically serve, as specific as you can be, a clear statement of what they want, their actual desire in the language that they speak to themselves with, and then the clear articulation of the promise that you they will get from you. The specifics— how many hours are they going to reclaim? How much income are they going to add? Um, how much weight are they going to lose? Whatever it is. And then what's the time frame? How fast are you going to help them achieve that goal? Those are the elements of a powerful coaching offer. You can go from a weak offer to a very strong offer in a very short period of time. And if you want to do this in community over the weekend with 8 other fellow travelers, people in the same kind of business that you're in, on a similar journey to try to get more clarity and specificity around their offer, their audience, and then start making sales, not by learning how to do something new and adding things to your sales strategy, but actually eliminating everything that's not working and raising the floor on the 3 core elements that are necessary for you to fill your programs and reach your monthly revenue goals. So I hope that that is, is helpful to you.
