Chasing $1 million in 90 days sets you up for burnout and failure. A 10-year timeline is realistic, but 10 days to 10 months is almost impossible. Aim for a 90-day goal that scares you a little but stays within reach.

If you say, I need to make $1 million in 90 days, all you've done is open yourself up to a tremendous amount of risk and suffering. If you want to make $1 million in 10 years, you have a very good chance of doing that. If you want to make it in 10 days or 10 weeks or 10 months, you have almost no chance, but you do have a very good chance of burning out and blowing yourself up. So make that 90-day objective big enough to feel a little scary but not delusional. Okay.
