Stoicism, Creativity, & the Art of Living - Creative On Purpose Live

So creativity then is a matter of expressing these fundamental human capacities and motives, but doing so in, in a complete and, and profound way. And that's where the virtues come in again, because the virtues are the way in which we can shape these motives and give them expertise, knowledge, completeness. So for them, for the Stoics, the more, the more expertly we live as human beings, the more we will realize these fundamental motives, the more we will achieve happiness. And that is how we will be creative. So, so that applies. And importantly, this is something, as I mentioned before, we can all do. These capacities are not just— they're not just for an elite. They're not just for an intellectual elite. They're not just for a social elite. They're something that all human beings can do. And the more fully we express with these fundamental human motives, the more, in our terms, creative we will be.
