Scott Perry demonstrates the Your Solopreneur Cornerman GPT, a tool that helps you pick between competing ideas. He walks through a real example: a solopreneur choosing between freelance writing, a productivity course, and coaching for new dads. The GPT uses the Decision Triangle and Close the Gap Method to spot blind spots and suggest 90-day tests.

All right. Just a short example of the power of the Your Solopreneur Cornerman GPT. You'll see I'm currently using version 2.0. You might be watching this video when it's been upgraded. Let's just say for the sake of argument that I am one of those multi-idea overthinkers and I want to use the GPT to sort through a current challenge. I'm going to hit click here to begin. It will prompt me to share what I'm currently working on and what I need help with. So I put in my problem, the thing that I'm trying to solve for. I have 3 different business ideas, a freelancing writing service, a course on productivity, and a coaching offer for new dads. I keep bouncing between them and I can't pick a lane. Which one should I prioritize? So I put that into the GPT. It's gonna follow a very standard format for replying that I often use. The first is to review and reflect. So it's just saying, hey, this is what I heard you say, just making that I got that right. I could come in here and clarify anything that I felt like the GPT missed in its review and reflection. Then I'm going to go into what's called Assess and Identify. And this is where, if it were me doing the coaching, I'm confirmed that I've heard the situation properly and what the person is trying to accomplish. I'm going to start looking for blind spots, black holes, missed opportunities, missed leverage points. And so it goes into its assess and identify mode saying, here's what I'm seeing. Here's some things that we need to consider. And then it's going to go into kind of the suggestions. And so it's referencing one of my pieces of intellectual property, which is the Decision Triangle, saying, hey, what's actually going on right now objectively without all the narrative fallacies and the adjectives and adverbs and value judgments. So that we can actually work on the problem instead of letting the problem work on us. Then suggesting that, you know, what's the smallest test move that I could try to learn more so I can confirm if I'm heading in the right direction or considering the right options? And which one of these actually aligns with not only my values but the lifestyle that I want to be living? And then it prompts me to, hey, if you want to keep walking through, or I could suggest something else. So let's just say, well, this, you Looks okay, but give me another option. And it will do exactly that. Again, referencing one of my coaching processes, the Close the Gap Method. What do you want to accomplish in 90 days that's going to get you closer to the lifestyle that you want to be fitting and funding through your business? What's the most immediate constraint? And so forth. So you can see really powerful interactive tool. My clients and community members tell me it's not a substitute for working with me, but it's a great tool for maintaining traction and momentum in between our coaching sessions. And so I encourage you to get in there and play with it. It's a really powerful tool.
