And the last thing here is values versus virtue. We all have these things that we believe in deeply. Faithfulness, honesty, truth, justice, what have you, right? These values that are near and dear to our hearts. But if someone was able to walk alongside us invisibly all day long, would they be able to pick out that our virtue is expressed? Are we as honest as we think we are? Do we ever violate our own values, our principles and philosophies? We tend to not be very good custodians of the things that we espouse to value and believe in. And so how do you close that gap? How do you become a person that actually lives their espoused values, which then expresses itself as virtue, as the content of your character?
