Nicheing is a way of chasing after leads, jamming them into a funnel. It's very labor-intensive. It can be exhausting. It can be expensive. And here's the thing about funnels. Funnels, at least marketing funnels, are inherently leaky. We talk about funnels because it sounds good. Oh, I'm just going to pour a bunch of people in the top of a funnel and they're going to flow to the bottom of the funnel and buy my thing. Doesn't work that way because people don't behave like liquid in a funnel. The only way to get people through a funnel is through force, is through pressure. This is why you see so much clickbait and online digital marketing gimmicks and tricks to get people to take the next action that you want to take, whether or not it's what they really need or what's good for them.
