This is a YouTube video titled "Loretta - 'I wish we hadn't waited'" containing an interview from August 2015. The content features a conversation between an interviewer and Loretta, who discusses her positive financial experiences, including paying off her house and managing money better through a program she recommends. The discussion focuses on personal finance improvements and reflections on past decisions.
I don't have to stand in queues of banks anymore or anywhere to pay my bills. It's all direct debited. I don't spend as much because I know I've got a limit. And I do feel guilty if I take money out, even though it's mine. I'm so happy because we're a lot better off now than what we were two, three years ago. And it's 18 months ago, whatever it was. And. Yeah, I just think it's great.
And so what sort of results have you achieved?
We paid a fair amount off our house, even though we took some off to buy a car. Well, the car's ours. It's owned. Wholly owned, as an investment. We're still paying our house off and I feel good about it. Yeah.
How much are you paying off?
I think it's about 46,000 a year. A year? Yeah.
Good year?
Yeah, it was a good year.
Based on that, how fast we own this house?
About three and a half years, I think. Yeah.
And how long would it have taken you to pay off before?
I'd have been on a walking frame A long time. Yeah. Another 20? 13 years? 15 years? Even longer.
Good, good. And what would you say to other people out there who are thinking about joining the program?
Do it. I was silly enough. We had people that your clients told us about this five years ago, and we were just armed and we were stupid. We should have done it then. Yeah.
