Good morning. Today I want to talk to you about just getting started. I think one of the things— had a special guest on the pod yesterday, dropped it this morning— and one of the things that came up was this very large gulf, this gap between thinking about something in your mind and then actually doing it and executing it in the real world. In reality, that gap is very small. It's just do something like send an email, write a note, press record, do anything. But in the mind, it feels like the Grand Canyon. So why is that? I think it's because, you know, maybe the inspiration out in the world that we see, or the person or the company that has the success that we pay attention to, Seems like there's a gigantic gap between where we are today and achieving that level. And that sort of makes it appear in the mind as if the gap is much larger. I think the big thing that you have to do is you've got to figure out that overlap between what's a hobby and what's a business, right? Because a hobby, you just enjoy doing it. In a business, you make money from it. And so I think, you know, if you can find that overlap, the good news is that you can win once guaranteed and potentially win twice or multiple times. The hobby, you win once because you just enjoy the activity of doing it. Congratulations, it feels good. You can win twice if you turn that into a successful business. Now, some people don't want to just Because of the nature of that, and that's totally okay too. But yeah, I think that's maybe the reason why there's a gap. And I think the answer to all of it is once you figure out this calling or this thing that speaks to you, don't overthink it. Just, just do. Don't think, just do, in the immortal words of the new Maverick movie. And have a great day.
