So what are the 4 main reasons that your team members are stressed, and what can you do about it as an effective leader to help them be more productive? Well, research study after research study has shown that the 4 major contributors to stress and lack of productivity are a lack of boundaries, a lack of opportunities, a lack of systems, and a lack of support. And so if you are an effective leader, you want to make sure that you're giving your team clear boundaries so they don't feel that work is sprawling over into their personal life. The second thing you want to do is to give your people opportunities for growth and development so they don't feel that there is a ceiling on where their efforts might take them. The third thing you can do is to make sure you're providing them with systems, whether it's Slack or communication programs, or ways that they can be more effective and templates they can follow to be more effective in their role. And finally, to provide support by building and being intentional about providing connection opportunities like team-building events so your team can feel there is support for them when they need it. I'm Sean Glaze. That's what effective leaders do.
