So what are two powerful questions you can use to get better feedback about leadership from your team? Well, as a speaker and coach, one of the things I've found is that the most effective leaders are those who don't just reflect internally about the impact they're having, but those that actually look to their team members to get a better picture of how they can improve their impact with the projects, with the people that they're leading. And so the two questions that I would encourage you to consider using in your one-on-one conversations with the people that you lead are these: First, what is one thing I should know about you to lead you better? And then second, what's one thing that is a habit I could change that would make me a better leader for our team? If you'll ask those two questions, you'll be A) surprised at the responses and B) absolutely more effective in leading your team. I'm Sean Glaze. That's what effective leaders do.
