Sean Clayton hosts a podcast episode (Science of Abundance Daily Alchemy) presenting a provocative perspective: 'F.U.C.K your family' as a framework for breaking generational trauma and redefining family. He combines personal testimony (trauma, incarceration, recovery) with spiritual tools (hermetic principles, alchemy) and offers the F.U.C.K. acronym—Forget, Understand, Create, Know—to guide listeners toward building chosen families rooted in freedom, accountability, and unconditional love.

Welcome to the Science of Abundance Daily Alchemy podcast. I'm your host, Sean Clayton, and my story's pretty interesting. Went through a ton of trauma, former incarceration, suicide attempts, sexual abuse in my life. And one of the things that's happened in my life is I've actually used hermetic principles, alchemy, all these really cool tools that we hear and we talk about, the Illuminati, whatever you want to call it, and develop practices in order to change and affect my lives differently. So within this podcast I will be giving tidbits and bites for individuals to be able to bite into on a daily basis. That will allow you to take baby steps to change your life. But at some point you'll find the door that starts to change the effect of how you show up on a daily basis. Enjoy this, give feedback, come to my Instagram comment, whatever it might be, always open because we wouldn't be here without each other. Please enjoy and thank you and I love you.
F U C K your family. Let's redefine what really matters. What is F U C K stand for? It stands for forget, Understand, create and know. When we forget, we let go of preconceived notions, limiting beliefs or attachments. When we understand, we gain clarity and deeper insight into ourselves and the world that we're creating. We're able to intuit and see beyond the veil that we've been given. When we create, we embrace our role as co creators of our reality, shaping our life with intention. And when we know, we integrate that divine wisdom and truth in our inner knowing. When you think about F U C K in motion, imagine piercing the veil, the guarded realm in the world and the societal constructs that we've been given. It is about seeing things differently and potentially impregnating this life with something new so you can birth your new reality. Now, when it comes down to family, a couple things that we're going to talk about. This is not a conversation. Number one, for the faint of heart. This is going to be raw, real, and it's going to shatter the image of family that you've been clinging to. But that's why you're here. We're going to talk about something most people don't have the courage to say out loud. F U C K your family. And this is not about hate. This is about freedom. It's about stepping out of the cycles of generational trauma that have kept us stuck for far too long. Because here's the truth. The family you're born into isn't always the family that's meant to set you free. We're going to dig into this. For generations, we've been sold the idea that family is sacred and untouchable. That blood ties are thicker than water, right? Not true. What if I told you those ties are the ones that keep you shackled to the same patterns, the same pain, the same damn loops that your ancestors could not escape? Talk about generational trauma. Past lives, trauma. Now, let's think about it. Family isn't about love. The family we've known. It's about expectations. And we call that love. The stories passed down, the ones that tell you who you're supposed to be, how you're supposed to act, what you're supposed to sacrifice in order to keep the family image intact. And so many of us spend our lives breaking ourselves into pieces to fit into a mold that was never designed for us. And we're all waking up to this now. I'm telling you. And here's the kicker. Those expectations are not even real. They're constructs. Hand me downs from a society that thrives on conformity. It's not about imagination. It's not about exploration. And your family, you created them. Whether they realized it or not, is often the first enforcers of this rule. They tell you to stay small, stay quiet, stay safe, because that's what they were told. And the cycle continues. But what happens when we say enough is enough? What happens when we decide to redefine family, to step out of these patterns and into something new? When we do this, everything changes. And I mean everything. When we stop viewing family as the people who simply share your DNA and start seeing it as the people who hold space for your growth, you begin to understand what true love really is. Family isn't about keeping you tied to the old rules. It's about giving you freedom to rewrite them. True family, whether it's your blood relatives or the people you choose, will challenge you to grow, not keep you in a box. They'll support your healing even when it means confronting their own pain. They hold themselves accountable to the same standards of love, integrity, and empathy that they ask of you. And the beautiful, messy truth of it all is when you change the definition of your family, you give your family the chance to change, too. Some of them will rise and meet you in this new, beautiful space. They'll see the old patterns for what they are. Illusions. And they'll choose freedom alongside you. But some won't. Some will double down on the rules, the guilt and the judgment. And that's okay? Because redefining family isn't about fixing anyone else. It's about freeing yourself and loving yourself. The world doesn't want you to do this. The world we've created, society that we've built these cyclical patterns on needs you to stay in line, to play your role, to keep those generational traumas nice and intact. Why? Because that's how the system, some call it the Matrix, Survive. If you break the loop, the system collapses. But here's the secret that a part of you doesn't want you to know. When you step outside of the loop, when you reclaim your power, when you redefine family, you're not just freeing yourself, you're creating a ripple that touches everyone around you. You show your siblings, your cousins, your children, your parents there's another way to live. You show them what it looks like to love without condition, to grow without limits, to break free of the past and step boldly into the future. And that's why this work matters. That's why we have to talk about it. Even when it's uncomfortable, even when it feels like betrayal. Because sometimes the most loving thing you can do is say, fuck your family. And start building a new one rooted in truth, in freedom, and in unconditional love. Here's the invitation. It's to look at your life, look at your patterns that you're stuck in. The expectations you are agreeing to meet, the weight you're carrying that isn't yours to bear. Ask yourself, who's holding you in those cycles? Where do they come from? And more importantly, who is ready to help you break free? That who is you. You're the only one with the key to your freedom. You're the only one that can make these choices and these decisions. And when you start making those choices and decisions around building the family from within, the family outside of you will show up in droves. They will show up in love. And the family that will keep you on that cycle, you still love them. You still honor them. But you set agreements in integrity that you hold yourselves and them accountable to. And that's how you love them differently. That's how you love the family that has held you in those cycles. And in order for them to love you, they will have to break those cycles within themselves. You are listening to this and you are the change agent. You are the stopping point for all generational trauma in your life. We are in the process of collectively ascending as humanity. And part of that process is for you to break the cycle. The snake that's eating its tail, that.
Keeps us in a loop.
You're opening it back up so that it can find healing within itself. And you are the key and the gateway to that. So redefine what family means to you. Build something new from the stillness within. Something real. Watches everything. Your relationships, your purpose, your sense of self transforms. This is not an easy path, and it's one worth taking. So stay bold. Stay free. Stay in integrity. Don't get flighty. And remember, your family is not your prison. It's your liberation. And it's your choice to let it be. Thank you. And I love you.
