Mike Melton reviews the Grip Max MT tire, a budget alternative to Nitto or Toyo that looks aggressive but costs less than $400 per tire. It has aggressive sidewalls and stone ejectors, and should last at least 40,000 miles with proper rotation.
Last time we showed this, it got 12 million views. Now that's a good looking damn mud tire right there. Pretty aggressive sidewall. Not aggressive as I thought it would be. So at first glance you're gonna think this thing's a little mud grappler, but it's not. It's the Grip Max mt. Now these things are too new, so nobody knows what kind of mileage you're gonna get out of them. Now the thing is, with any tire, you never know what mileage you're gonna get. It depends on how you drive, what you drive on. If you haul stuff like that, I'm gonna say as long as you take care of them, you should get at least 40000 of them. But you got to keep them rotated. Now if you're up north where it snows a lot, you it's got place where you put your studs in there. They ain't got some super wide channels in there, so you ain't got to worry about mud getting stuck in there. It's going to clean all that mud out. It's got these big old stone ejectors in there. Now these channels are so wide rocks shouldn't get stuck. But if they do, you know they're gonna sling out anyway. As people use these things, we get some more feedback. We're gonna let you know mileage, stuff like that people's giving us. Now, I know what you're saying, man, I don't want to spend four or five hundred dollars on a tire. I can't afford that. Well, go with the grip Max mt. It's not going to be as good as Nitto or Toyo because the quality. But it'll get you where you need to go and it'll give you that look.
