This is a YouTube video titled "Are Thes 35’s True To Size ?" containing a single-speaker review and measurement demonstration of Toyo tires, discussing their actual dimensions compared to advertised sizes and fitment considerations. The content is a detailed explanation aimed at viewers interested in tire sizing and clearance issues.
All right, people in the comments wanted me to see if these Toyos are true to size. So we're going to take a tape measure and try that out. All right, so you measure these tires, if they're 12 and a half inches wide, you're going to go from side lug to side lug. Alright. So we're going to take it, measure this thing from side lug to side lug. That's how you do it. Put it against that side lug. Get as close as you can. See right here. If you look at that, we're 12 inches wide. Now a lot of them say 12 and a half. These things are actually 12 inches wide from side lug to side lug. So now we're going to measure from floor to the top of this tire and see if It's a true 35. We're going to do put it down there at the very bottom and we'll take a look at the very top of that Trend. This thing's 34 and a quarter inches tall, so definitely not a true 35 and it's not a true 12 and a half. But that's why the, these Toyo tires always fit a lot better. That way you have any clearance issues, you know, you got a little bit more room to play with. All right. So with that being said, most tires are not true to size. That way you have a little bit better fitment and clearance issues. That's still a hell of a tire. Really good looking tire. So I wouldn't pass that up just because of and a half an inch.
