This is a YouTube video titled "August 29, 2024" containing a monologue or demonstration focused on evaluating the balance and road force of Versa tires purchased from Custom Offsets. The speaker discusses the issues with the tires, including vibration and improper balancing, providing a real-time test and critique. The content is technical and related to automotive tire performance.
This guy in his Chevrolet truck drove all the way from Virginia to come see us. Let me show you why. So he bought these wheels off of custom offsets. They're the Versa tires. So far, from what we've seen out of the Versa tires, they don't balance well. But this is a whole brand new set. So let's see how these things balance out. All right, for one, that's a major reason why this thing is vibrating. You have clip ons and everything's way too close together. You can't balance wheels like that. All right, as you can see, we snatched all those weights off the clip ons and those big old stick ons. Now we got that set thing on lt. Let's go ahead and spin it out. All right, so we're gonna do this real time. Like y' all like to see it. You can't really see it on the camera, but it's got a pretty good little hop to this tire. So now the roller's on there. We're going to see exactly how much road force this thing has and why you should not buy the Versa tires. Just because they're cheap and they look good don't mean anything. All right, so the threshold is 35. We're currently at 58. Even if we force match.
