This is a YouTube video titled "August 31, 2024" containing a monologue by Mike Melton recorded on August 31, 2024. In this segment, Mike Melton humorously comments on the social dynamics around Labor Day, highlighting family members with and without jobs and their differing attitudes toward the holiday.
You know Labor Day is right around the damn corner, right? You know, every family's got that one person that's in their family that don't even have a job, and then they got that other part of the family that has a boat. So when Labor Day comes up, you got that one. One guy or one girl that don't have a job saying, woohoo, let's go celebrate Labor Day. Like, seriously, you think Tuesday you're going to go try to find a damn job? I don't think you are.
