This is a YouTube video titled "August 6, 2024" containing a single-speaker review focused on the wet traction performance of Toyo Open Country tires. The speaker shares personal driving experiences in heavy rain and praises the tires for their excellent grip and hydroplaning resistance, providing an honest and detailed assessment of their quality.
Here's my wet traction review of the Toyo open country at 3s. I like, everybody knows I'm honest about every tire. So if a tire is good, I'm gonna let you know. And if a tire is crap, I'm gonna let you know. So if anybody lives in North Carolina, around Lincoln, you know what kind of storms we've had over the weekend driving this thing home. Friday, we ran through a dag on monsoon. All right, so the traction on these, I give it one out of ten. I'm gonna give these things a ten. The reason being, number one, I never hydroplane at all. And we had some big old thick puddles out there in the road. Now, two, when you're going up through some of these curves and stuff like that, you say it's 35. Well, I'm pumping it up to about 45 to 50. Never lost traction. Didn't even fear that these things were going to slide at all. And when you sitting at a light, you know, a lot of people just stomp on the gas, right? And they say, oh, lose traction. These, you know, tires ain't worth nothing. Well, these right here, you stomp on the gas and they grip that road no matter how. How wet it is. So if you worried about the traction on these things, don't worry. These things are going to give you the traction you're looking for, and they also going to last a long time.
