This is a YouTube video titled "August 7, 2024" containing a single-speaker technical explanation about diagnosing and fixing wheel and tire vibration issues on a Ram 2500 Power Wagon. The speaker discusses tire balancing techniques and equipment used to reduce vibration.
This guy said he cannot get the vibration out of these wheels and tires here. We got a Ram 2500, and it is a power wagon. And of course, you know, he's running the best. He's running no cheap tires. 35, 12, 50, 20, and the Nitto MTS. All right, one of the first things you want to look, make sure the wheels are hub centric. That way, keep any vibration down. All right, so this is the last company who did it. So they got weights here and they got weights here. That's a good way to do it. So let's see if it's out of balance. Of course, every tire we're going to road force them. We got it in lt. Let's go ahead and spin it. All right, now that we road force it, so it's got currently 40 pounds of force, we're going to bring that on down to reduce that vibration. All right, so starters, let's go ahead and mark this tire. All right, start. Let's go ahead and mark that tire where that laser is. Next, we rotate it and we mark the wheel where that laser is. So we spin that tire around. So before we rebalance it, as you see, the weights are still on here. It's 2 and a half and 3 ounces off. That's a lot. All right. There's one other thing that I didn't notice till now. See these washers? Look at.
