Mike Melton tests Radar Renegade X tires on a Road Force balancer to see if the brand fixed its notorious vibration problems. The tires scored 4.5 oz, 2.75 oz, and 24 lb force, readings so clean he says they're rare. Either Radar solved the defect or he got a good batch.

We hadn't done these in a while, so somebody wanted this Radar Renegade X. So we ain't gonna go over the tire too much. So if you've never seen it, tires made by Radar, they came out a while back and I said they would go away real, real fast because they had too many issues with them. Now it is a good looking tire, sidewall looks good, tread looks decent, look like got some airplanes. All right, so you know what we got to do. Well, my guy already took the damn sticker off, so we can't do that. All right, now we ain't gonna edit, we're gonna cut it, go ahead and lower the hood. You've never seen my videos, this is a Road Force balancer. Most people won't spend the money, Most people don't know how to use this thing right. The roller's going to come down, put 2,000 pounds— I mean, 1,200 pounds of force into that roller onto the tire to diagnose any kind of vibration issues that's going to happen before it goes on the truck. So the roller's coming off. It's already did what it's going to do. So it's calling for 4.5 ounces here, 2.75 here, 24 pounds of force. So these will not vibrate, but that's pretty rare. So they may have fixed their manufacturing problem. Like I said, I hadn't seen them in a while. Maybe they fixed it, or this might be one of the 50% that you get a good set. Not sure.
